I'm stuck trying to guess what they think "humble" means. Do they think it's an insult, like the pursuit was done with a low budget or something? Baffling.
Imagine Yaira but reducing the dialogue between her and those .. things... to like 5 words per page maximum. Maybe allow a bit more on their first encounter, and then just express everything through battle and art. It would still be a bad comic, but it would be unfathomably better than it is now.
I have a feeling Eric gave everyone involved a very, very, very basic story and said "spread it out over 90+ pages and don't deviate from what I said...be great"

Is that "netting" in the prison cell actually really incompetently drawn shadows from the bars? Makes no sense at all that the lighting from a long fluorescent tube would cause super-sharp shadows.

I read Deus Vult. It was like one of those old cheap golden key one off books. Boring and the hero uses a stone sword he took from a statue which was a terrible idea. Sold my copy on eBay at a loss. Will never buy another JDA book

Have a look at Ark Survival Evolved and Ark Survival Ascended, Ava might like it. You can tame all the dinos (including Ankylosaurs) and build bases etc. Enjoy ;)
That's awesome Ethan I live with my sister and nieces and the oldest is 9 and autistic. Had a great time going to East Park in London, Ontario, Canada, for the waterpark, mini-golf, bumper cars and golf karts. Great Summer :D

All this dribble to probably reveal that Isom is the "one who shall not be named" and "disappeared, the god living a normal life on Earth while his icey angels have become currupted in his abscence. Also fiery demons and bloody witches of course.
I laughed so hard at how your reaction to the craptonian dialogue mirrored my own to a T. The most cringe-inducing and disgustingly obnoxious, repetitive and dumb dialogue I have ever witnessed. If you had asked me my first thought about Yaira at any point after having read it, the first thing that comes to mind is that awful dialogue.
The best of the dialogue was that when watching the vod, you can skip the review after it gets too " backward, cretinous, delayed, dim-witted, feebleminded, half-witted, simple, simple-minded". That writing makes that book feel like it you should get paid to read it instead of buying it.
