Small correction for the description: Vex's 14,083,170 score is the highest for the Makai route, which is the route seen in this TAS. The actual highest, as gotten in the Jigoku route, is 14,503,740 by mu021. Was snatched from Pearl just recently too, mu is cracked at this game. A few months back, he even got the world's first HRtP LNN. (Lunatic No Miss No Bomb)
Awesome to see another Touhou PC-98 TAS featured and giving the older games more attention. Even better timing on Pearl's end to submit this around the time the Anniversary Edition was released in celebration of this being the first PC-98 Touhou game to be fully reverse-engineered. This score went through the Jigoku route however - this TAS goes through the Makai route, in which case Vex's record of 14,083,170 points is indeed correct. The description also says this is the first game to have ever been officially released for the PC-98. A quick search tells me the first PC-98 game to be released did so in April 1983. It is the first "Touhou" game though.
Oh I 100% missed "Touhou" in that sentence about being the first game. The score thing was provided by another Staff member. I believe it was for specifying Makai route's score, but I adjusted it to Jigoku and mu021's score. If it was meant to be specified as Makai it'll be adjusted back to that whilst probably mentioning the Jigoku route.
