It's amazing the way the kite-handlers can make the stunt kites loop and dive! (at about 14:00).....and the twirly-whirly kites.....and the others.......I never knew there were so many different types of kites. As for the big colorful kites it's hard to choose a favorite. Maybe the red salamander! There couldn't be a better place in the world than Long Beach to showcase all this. It's encouraging to see humans devote all this effort to something just for the sheer beauty of the outcome.
