I love how after almost 4 years and 2 games everyone still loves Bayek and agrees that he should've gotten a sequel. It's a testament to how he was such a good character.
He deserved one, such a good character, its really sad that instead they made valhalla and oddissey, decent games but nothing compared to this masterpice
@@Epiousios18 Yeah but that's not how Ubisoft work, if they were going to do a sequel for Bayek, it would have been immediately after Origins but they've since gone on and made 2 new games in completely different settings and will be working on a new structure for a new game that I can almost guarantee won't be a Bayek sequel. Which is sad because he has one of the best stories of any of the assassins in the franchise.
On top of having a great voice actor, Bayek has a kind of swagger just in the way he moves. You don't realize how important something like that is to a character until they don't have it. I hate to shit on Andromeda after all this time, but it's a good example of how bad character animations can throw everything off.
I feel that origins was the last "Assassin's" creed game, odyssey and valhalla are good but they don't embrace the name as much as they should, Odyssey didn't even have any assassin's creed until the dlc but that shouldn't have really existed because we already knew the origins of the creed, it was like a prequel to the prequel. Valhalla was good but it also didn't really have evior taking the assassin's seriously as until the late game, he/she is just a glory seeking viking. I feel that while Origins wasn't perfect it was a great game and like I said before the last "Assassin's" creed game, I feel they really should have given it a sequel to expand on what they made and improve on what they missed in origins.
eivor never took it seriously. it was a means to an end this was specifically mentioned in eivor's conversation with hytham. They want to conquer England, helping hidden ones with their target aids in their own clan's goals. It was mutually beneficial nothing else.
I do think Valhalla is an AC game. We have a LOT of AC lore in the game, even more than origins, plus the game continuous the modern day story aswell. Origins was better, explained a lot why the brotherhood was formed and why they are the way they are, but there is no denial its an AC game. The only problem in valhalla is that Eivor isn´t an assassin, or at least doeesn´t really care, but whe have seen that before, in black flag, rogue and AC 3 whit haytham, AC 2 whit ezio aswell, AC 2 ezio only becomes an assassin at the end of the game, he is only killing because he wanted revenge. In AC 3 whe only start playing as an assassin connor in sequence 5, very late aswell. Whe literally have to wait for the whole game to edward to become an assassin, and you are a templar in rogue. Valhalla, eivor isn´t really in the creed, but at the sime time he is, he helps them all, and kills his targets like an assassin does, works whit the creed aswell. Still, overall, Origins>Valhalla.
