Welcome to Part 5 of HCC on the PCT! In this video my son and I continue our journey on the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon, USA. We saw a snake and a deer this time! Plus, the lakes were abundant and beautiful. We started hiking on June 26th and this video covers days 23 -29 (July18th-24th). It saddens me to see the forest all burnt like that,😑 do you ever go swimming in the lakes or are they really cold? they look so inviting!

I was sad to see the burned forest too. I never swam in the lakes but a lot of people did. Some were ice cold and others weren't too bad!

Always carry some everclear just for running a little through it prevent freezing and weird bacteria, good for feet and pits too
