Yeah reality is Mtashed needs to play more than 1 game. Always thought he was a kindhearted soul that just loved what he was playing but wished there was more. But seriously he needs more than 1 or 2 games. Or rather he needs games. More than just HoYo or Gacha’s in general. There’s SO many games that he could stream that he would love. He just needs to stop thinking about money and Start thinking what can I enjoy.
He’s a father looking after his family, but he’s also a hard worker that needs rest, if your work is games and the games you are currently playing aren’t giving you that rest. Find more games. Personal enjoyment means more.
I just hope Mtashed finds that place where he belongs because it’s so hard for him to love what he’s currently doing

Yeah he needs to play other games he knows this game was gunna be this way and still approached it the same way he did genshin unlike the rest of us who learned from our mistakes he refuses to ,nobody should ever play just 1 game all the time ,even if you had that approach for a triple a game that isn't gacha you would still blow through the content only playing one game day in and day out ,after what happened between me and genshin I learned to have balance because yes I love honkai but reality is if I play it all day and night I'll get burn out sooner than later ,but because I haven't done it the same way I did genshin I still have loads of content like I just got done with jarilo 6 and the games been out for a few weeks now but that's because I'll play other games so I don't run out of content,I play wild rift so it has helped immensely,I wish I wish I had approached genshin that way cause I miss it but I'm afraid if I go back I still won't care for it because of how it made me feel towards the end so idk I can't feel bad for mtashed when he literally does this to himself

I know what it feels like when you love absolutely everything about a game minus 1 very significant element. Before Genshin came out I was trying to get into LoL. Although I loved the worldbuilding, lore, aesthetics and combat, half of those things weren’t even present in the game itself and I had to come to terms with the fact that I was never going to be happy forcing myself to play a super toxic pvp game. Similarly, no amount of amazing character designs is going to make me enjoy fps games. This realisation was pretty tough at the time because it meant I wasn’t going to be happy playing the games my friends loved. Genshin and Star Rail, however, have the elements I really care about without the elements I don’t like. Therefore they’re both amazing games for me and I consider myself very fortunate to have found games that appeal to me this much. I really like Teccy's takes. I try to preface my comments with "I'm not a content creator, so I don't know those struggles." I've been a MMO player for years, and yes, I know that they are different genres, but they do have a few things in common. Once you get to the end of the current content, you have no choice but to wait until there's more content to keep playing the game. Either you log in, do your dailies, goof around for a bit and log out, or you take a break and play something else until there's more content. I do really like Mtashed as a creator as well, and I can tell that he does genuinely like the game, but I do think he needs a different type of game to cover on stream. So I was meeting characters like fischl that I supposedly “knew” but I had missed so much of the story that I’d never be able to play through.
Not to mention, I played HEAVILY for like 4 months and never got a single crown for my talents, I got pitiful artifact rolls and hit a MAJOR wall in terms of progression. I don’t even know how to explain what happened.
I got Ayaya on her recent banner and built an entire freeze team around her, after already building Xiangling, Bennett, Fischl, and Jean, only to run into cryo mages with cryo shields and Ayaka was absolutely useless against them….and the other characters too underpowered for them.
So instead of switching teams, toggling world levels, and all this other horse shit, I just stopped playing the day Honkai SR came out. And I shit you not, I feel already twice as powerful in HSR as I was in GI, when I played GI for 4 months and HSR for barely a couple weeks. I already have 4 5 stars, including MC, and I’m about to have a 5th…whereas in GI I only had 2 5 star characters after playing for 4 months.
There’s literally no content I’m having trouble with in HSR. I’m already working on world 5 simulated universe, I already have 5 crown equivalents (the orbs you use to top of traces) and I’m getting to experience all the content of HSR instead of missing all the events like GI.
But because I quit GI I’m just curious what content they didn’t release? So I can know what to expect in Star rail. Thanks for reading I know this was long

@@asasheffield508Haha, no worries. I didn't expect all the info drop here but I guess I'll answer your question. Its not really about unreleased content, cause they haven't ever say anything about it coming out. - Its about Q&A by Hoyoverse where they said they do not plan to add permanent content for endgame players, because its creating anxiety for the players. (which is bad joke by them and yes they said this lol.) - I can understand your frustration with artifacts in genshin, I wouldn't be honest if I said I enjoyed being scammed on resin everyday to get bad rolls or wrong set pieces lol. I still play genshin 2x AR 60 on EU, (F2P&spender) and AR 59 on NA, but I take my time with content on rest 2 accounts so I don't usually burn out. @@KkeojyeoOW Thanks for your reply…that is WILD that they said that, very on the nose. But what type of permanent end game content were people expecting? I guess you’re talking about permanently replayable content with rewards, huh. All this checks out to me. Hoyo kind of perfected their FOMO formula (FOMOla?) - I don’t expect them to introduce content that undercuts the need to log in every single day for limited results - that is part of their strategy. And then events and stuff have to be damn near unmissable, also part of their strategy.
I just don’t like that the story content from the events are never able to be experienced again. This is of course part of their “fomola”, I just think it makes it so much more difficult to have new players feel rewarded and a “part of” when they miss out on all these huge moments in the game history, character introductions and all that. You can no life play it when it first comes out for like 2 weeks and then you've ran out of content to do. Now the only thing you can do is login, spend the energy, max out the daily activity and go play smth else until new patch brings more content. I've been playing gacha games like fgo for a long time and that's what we always do. Of course games like genshin has bigger world and more contents to do outside of just farming but games like star rail, you gotta just take it slowly. Being because like Star Rail I just wanna play Star Rail, and when I can't I just go do something else entirely cuz if I can't play what I want I'm not in the mood for a random videogame. Or because of games like Bleach Brave Souls, the bare FOMO makes me play it much more than I really want to ( BBS has 10 hour full recharge for PVP tickets, 12 hour full recharge for Stage Tickets and revolves alot around coop farming that takes quite a while) so after the time I spend playing it without really wanting to I just don't wanna play video-games at all. I had this exact same problem with League of Legends, 80% of the time I was fuming and fucking mad as hell with the game, and fuck the games can take the good portion of an hour, so after 10 years I just quit entirely and my gosh it was amazing.
On the other hand I used to spend like 12 hours playing Tibia when I was a kid, and man now we are talking, I loved every minute of it mostly because I played with friends, but Cipsoft killed the game so it is what it is lol

Like you said the game Mtash probably would probably be better off playing is retail style games or MMO style games more so than Genshin where the entire product is finished (maybe with dlc expansion(s) released later and can put down/pick up the game whenever he wants rather than NEED to keep playing for resources.
Personally I dislike the gacha model due to the fact it forces you into a schedule you may rather not bother with (logging in at least 1x per day for dailies for example to get maximum amount of pulls or to use energy to build characters). I mainly just get through Star Rail, Genshin, and Honkai Impact by just not caring much about it nowadays...I'm playing Star Rail daily mainly cause it's newer and the dailies/auto combat means I can just do something else on the side and unlike you/Tectone I'm not really pushing the story/side content right now (have a few Belebog quests and all of World 3 left) but as for Genshin I'm only logging in for events or exploring/doing story when I see fit and just not playing it if I don't have say the Welkin moon (which I do for now in prep for Fontaine and the Hydro Archon's release)) and as for Honkai Impact I'm probably not coming back to it for a long while as I finally caught up with the main story.
As for the whole content creator having nothing to do/say that Mtash goes over the ONLY real thing I can say would be to focus on other games than these gacha games and move from game to game. Prime example would be play things like say Elden Ring when it released or since it just released today Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or if he wants to focus on a game that is reliant on gear builds and choosing skills from skill trees than Dragon's Crown Pro (even if it is an old game it never really blew up big so his perspective could bring attention to them/create a build someone else didnt' really think of years ago) would also be one that would scratch that itch and so on would probably be better games for him to create content for that won't give him the boredom factor and wait to cover Star Rail/other gacha when new content is added.

Mihoyo have actually made the simulated universe the game mode where people can play the game indefinitely if they so choose to, I did that for the past few days using the same team but going with different paths just to see how it affects my team. yes it feels like a waste of time if I don't have the energy to claim the rewards at boss stages but it's still fun. if they can intergrade a scoring system along with it like how PGR did with one of its game mode where scoring depends on damage dealt, damage received, number of waves of enemies defeated etc and playing that game mode doesn't cost energy and you can keep playing it over and over again to try get higher high score to move you up the leader board while completing missions or get rewarded for scoring different tiers of milestone. This kind of content will extend play time by a huge margin imo.
Am a honkai impact 3rd player and after so many years the game adds more and more content to the game that now I start a fresh account on it I'd be spending weeks or even months playing catch up.
Anyways honkai star rail will just be like HI3RD and genshin the game will have content pumped out in years to come. we all face this problem where a new mobile game cones out and everyone likes it so much we all rush through the content in the shortest amount of time possible. I too am guilty of this but am enjoying the grind for gear because am taking my time focusing on one unit at a time. Am Seele (E0btw) fan so I want to make her as strong as I possibly can, untill am satisfied I probably won't move on to work on the next unit. lol
There are plenty of ways to make the game fun, there are ways to make guides if your a content creator. As tecy mentioned you can jump on a whale account and work with it. What am trying to say is thinking outside the box and don't rely on the game to pump out new content to make the game fun. use what we have now and do something creative with it till new content comes out.
Hell Mtash used a level 20 sampo in simulated universe showed us how useful he is even at low level with next to no gears. Isn't that something you can make content with along with giving yourself a challenge in the name of content creation?

Is to give a option to "farm energy" either directly or with the fuel in an content like stimulated universe which you can repeat endlesy, but the amount is depending on the difficulty of the content and the speed you finished it.
For example lets say you run world 3 difficulty 1 and finish it at an normal speed then you get like 5 energy because and at current roadblock its easy and fast to clear but then lets say you run world 3 at difficult 2 and finish it faster then average then you get like 30 or 40 energy to reward you for your succes.
Please dont take it to seriously its just an example but i do think that something like that could work as long its refined.
They sould also make it so it depends on what trailblaze lvl you are to avoid being able to completly grinding through it for energy for doing something that sould be easy at current lvl.

Actually it sucked. I think not giving us event at 1.0 is good idea because people have time here to settle in, level up chars, see if the game is for them, get their first five stars via free pulls for beginners. A lot of events in genshin, and probably in Honkai Star Rail just like quests are (gonna be) level rank gated and players need time to keep up with that
Especially when there's no coop to speed things up by grinding outside own map

I think a comment on Mtashed video on this made a really solid point and Tectone said it as well. In reality you have to take honkai star rail as a gacha game for what it is. It is really hard to main a gacha game for a content creator in my opinion because if you don't spend (Like asmon has whaling for seele) on characters since that is a quick and easy way to get chat happy seeing you spend thousands on a waifu slot machine, you will be severely handicapped as a F2P or unless you cover/play multiple gacha games like FGO, Azur Lane, PGR, Path To Nowhere, Girls Frontline,etc... This feels especially tough with honkai star rail being out for only 2 weeks with no event until 1.1. Obviously Tectone is right and I agree a lot of people are anxious to see what 1.1 bring to see what direction honkai star rail will be taking.
I think that despite asking us for surveys, hoyoverse does not give a crap about western players/content creators opinion. We will always be 2nd class citizens to CN and JP players, this is the reality. The only time I ever saw global come togtether to force hoyoverse's hand was during the genshin 2nd anni where the paltry rewards were so stingy and egrigious even multiple mainstream news outlets covered it and it brought a crap ton of attention on hoyoverse making millions every month but cant be bothered to use even 5% of that to reward the players.
What also is hilarious is that even if a player wanted to whale and just contantly refresh trailblaze power to farm more, it is impossible. You are capped to like 7 refreshes daily i think, and some my whales friends are angry they cant endlessly swipe to farm.
I think 1.1 will be a milestone to see what honkai star rail will be like plus im desperate for Jing Yuan banner since i really want to max out Tingyun.

So let's say when farming artifacts, without energy/resin then they only give 1 per run, but with resin they give like 3 or 4. Essentially just x3/4 everything in exchange for energy. Of course it sounds good in my mind, but maybe there are some problems that are not so transparent with this system

The urge to log in on time would become weaker so the rise of the possibility that more players will lose the habit of visiting the game arises hence people will cool down more till the next patch. No matter how in love with the game right now we are, with time emotions weakens, new happenings or hobbies might become a higher priority etc. It is good for players cause they would feel so much less frustration having unfinished builds but not for the company

Yea no way anyone would just kill boars in wow to lev 60 too much of a grind. Its just a money making system. I think you should be able to grind an max out some aspects of the game. Character level being one of thoes aspects. Then you still have your weekly lockouts and stamina for things like relic farming. But feels really bad to not be able to level up a new character you pulled.

Mtashed is hopelessly addicted to that feeling of stat progression. It's a good feeling, and I understand it, but dude, you have to understand that you are legitimately addicted and it isn't the game's fault. You should harness that energy and use it in the real world. It will be incredibly helpful in almost anything you do. Start working out, learn a new language, etc. Use that need for improvement for something real, not a character's stat sheet.

The SimUniverse got so much potential to grind in it, but Mihoyo just decided that you can't grind anything out of it which is frustrating.
I just really hope that you can get like at least 1% chance to get upgrade materials every time you defeat Elite/Boss monsters. It would really help end game and just get people to play more.

You get an ammount of base upgrade materials and Cash when you finish a simulated universe Elite or Final boss btw.
There are tons of upgrade materials you can't get, but there are 4-5 mats you can farm while grinding SU
