Hi Maria, i bet your stew and dumplings was lovely, that was a good tip about the vegetable suet using it for sweet recipes. I like crispy and soft dumplings. I have tried the packet mix dumplings, they aren't bad if you can't get suet
Hi Maria good to see you I love dumplings with mince and onions too I have made them with margarine just do half the amount of butter to flour I find that works well enjoy your casserole Maria ❤️😊
Hello Maria, my mum used to make hers using veggie marge coz dad became a veggie, they were delicious and yes she used the same ratio as suet, they were lovely. You make yours the same as I do but if I'm doing a chicken stew I add some dried sage to them. 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️
I've never used anything other than suet for dumplings, so it's good to know I can substitute it for butter or oil if I needed to. That's a good idea adding a little sage to your mix. Thank you for the good ideas and for watching 😊
Thank you for this Mrs Richardson, these are what I call real dumplings. Seems like every time I look for them I find someone making them with something more like a scone dough and rolling it out and cutting it into little flat squares. Those aren't the dumplings I remember.
Hi , I know what you mean about what to do, we are eating bits and pieces out of the freezer , to make room for the Christmas shopping , I found some vegetarian suet for when we do bread pudding. as the daughter in law not meat eater . Our new Aldi opening this Friday will not venture there until its calmed down , fighting for parking spaces. Thank you 😊
I've got too many pies in my freezer! I kept ordering the £1 boxes from Iceland not realising how many I'd got. My eldest daughter went in the freezer tonight looking for something and complained she had to get through a load of pies to find what she wanted 😂 I don't blame you for waiting a while before visiting your new Aldi, like you say everyone is going to be going. Thank you for watching 😊
I love dumplings Maria but haven't had them for years,I was watching a video that Martin and Sharon from butlersempire did a year ago for ''no suet dumplings'' ua-cam.com/video/SqK_wP7xsr4/v-deo.html as they said that suet was getting quite expensive, they looked ok and they said they couldn't tell the difference, another enjoyable viseo flower Xx
Please be careful selling on ebay, i have done it for years and just relist everything that didnt sell, no fees, now it has changed they saying it is free right, but if have auction items and the listing is every 5 days say, it will send it over the 300 items per month so ebay charge you big time, i just got stung by it, i think they want us to be a businus, my things are from my late parents as Mum passed this year what didnt sell i kept relisting because it was free to do so, now they have changed it to 300 items per month ( it was something huge like 10 thousand pounds worth or something) then it said clothes are free to sell meaning they not taking 10 percent , i think i had 150 items listed so over the month it has took it over 300 if makes sense even though same items
Yes I know what you mean. I don't do auction, only buy now. They get renewed something like every 30 days. I keep an eye on my listed item number, but so far I haven't reached 100. Ebay are crafty when it comes to money. Its like the new way of paying you, it used to go straight to your bank, now they hold it until you withdraw it, that must make them interest. They are also encouraging you to spend it on their site. I agree they want everyone to be a business. Thank you for watching 😊
