Finally got around to watching this one. That Monte Carlo is just begging someone to save it, it looked like it has good bones (although it needs a ton of body work). Great seeing all those cars go to someone who will make sure the parts help other cars stay on the road. I do hope you do a junkyard build out of that yellow one, would be a cool to see.
Oh man there's tons of GREAT cars in that Yard!! Oh man! That 70 or 71 Camaro on the left as they enter the place is looking sweet! AHHH! TONS of Sweet Camaros!! GRR!! Lincolns from the 60's (I think) and many GM cars like that "Monaco" or whatever it is that he moved first. Ugh!
I can relate to the dude with the loader with no brakes. I loaded some 5K pound printing presses on a flat bed with an old military forklift with no brakes and it was most sketchy.
Good video. The yellow one is probably only one worth restoring although not sure you would get your money back on effort. I owned an identical 1980 vette, bought it in 1981, same yellow with white interior. At first i thought it could be my old one but i had done a number of changes to engine not present in this example.
Come on up to Alaska and get my vette collection. I’ve got six. 73 body only, 75 four speed roller no front fiberglass except hood, 75 running 350 AT, new brakes, complete in primer, needs carpets, 78 roller, no front body, 78 roll over bad with only 20,000 miles. Also have a container full of vette parts. My oldest son gets the 66 427 4 sp fast back, youngest getting my 65 GTO 360hp tri pwr 4 sp. How about a 1936 fwd Cord and a 41 Graham Hollywood? Lots of others but at 75 running out of birthdays to finish. Good luck on the 7 you got.
Yeah: Realisticly they are parts cars only. Those vehicles do no have the value of a Ferrari. I do not see a point of saving those cars. The rain killed them for good. But they can help to save a lot of other projects. Specially cars with body damage.
I got a 1980 c3 for you been off the road since 2004 from key west sitting in my garage have not even tried to start it complete car needs driver side top mirrored chrome you got one thanks for the video
Interesting video Ben for sure. (It's like the movie 'Corvette Summer', but times 7). Lots and lots of good parts on these later model C3s for sure. Personally I think the yellow 1980 would be the best one to bring back alive, (I remember the Corvette ad campaign for this very car...ok, maybe not this exact car, but the color and year are a solid match to something we Corvette aficionados remember like it was yesterday).
I love C3 corvettes. but i am seriously interested in all those early second gen Camaros. you never see them around anymore. they are all just gone. it been like that since the mid 90s. you will occasionally see a 75-81 car. but you never see 70-74 cars any more.
Hi Ben, The best thing you can do is part-out all of them. What about that '58 Chevy? As a change from Corvettes, ( I know they are you favorites), maybe work on the '58!
Must be nice, once the ashtrays full just buy a new car. 🤣 Be great if you could get one decent car out of the 7 and still have a ton of parts. Sounds lick they will be low mileage (for the age) so hopefully the engines are sound. 2x👍
Hello Ben, My opinion, I see 3 maybe potential builders, to sell. To build a car you need a good frame, (vette) a good birdcage, vin, and title, everything else can be bought or replaced with these 7, and the history on them, I believe a title can be obtained pretty easily if the rest is in good shape on the few potential ones My top pick to inspect first would be the 77 with the vin 62, that would have some rarity to it, I would get it on your rack and inspect throughly, underneath, if good there,, then clean it out completely, get it to bare bones roller shell, (birdcage) I would go as far as check the vin on the block, see if numbers matching too. The blue one, then the 2 tone 78, are the others. Good luck on them...
I was about to comment on the job the loader driver was doing but then I heard "There's no brakes on the loader" just before I did so I've decided not to say what I was going to say LOL. That changed the whole thing! BUT the question arises that if he knew he was going to do this job and or was hired to do it. I don't know if he's the owner of the lot and cars or just an independent driver. IF he;s getting paid to do this job then WHY aren't his brakes working correctly?
@@tabbott429 - Agreed. When you factor in 3 hrs driving return, and all the fuel, x 5, plus the transport for the last 2, plus the actual price of these cars, I don't see how there's any value at all here. They're all ruined because they were left outside without roofs and most without wheels. Can you imagine parking a 5 year old 1980 Corvette outside to rot and 44 years later revealing the fruits of time? lol The value will be to Ben if he needs a fender or some glass here and there for future restorations I suppose.
Theres still a bunch out there for sale from 5k to 20k running and driving and clean. THese cars are ALL JUNK. Id take the glass in trim and some misc parts and junk the rest.
I search marketplace detroit area and find at least 10 C3s running and driving in good condition with nice paint for under 10-12k. I hope you got a great deal on those POS's. Glass and trim maybe a couple wheels is all i see. maybe some doors? yikes you really like corvettes apparently. lol
Well you know if you don't like the cars then don't buy them don't think about him there's a lot of parts you can use Franny alternator starters all kinds of stuff❤❤
Hello Ben, sorry to bother you. I would like to ask you a question my C3 Corvette 454 73 break pedal getting very hard after about 2 miles and brakes are on all the time you told me to change the brake hoses which I did yesterday because in Europe is not so easy to get parts for those cars but even after I did it is still doing the same problem front and rear brakes all breaking on them own so I have to stop and let the pressure drop and then the car will go again for sometime with no problem and start breaking after 2 miles again do you have any idea what else it could be? Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Hey Ben. Got a 77 that I had a mechanic replace everything on the brake system- from master cylinder to lines , calipers etc. Now he can’t get a firm pedal after countless bleeding- HELP ? Any suggestions thank you !
If I wasn't so far away from you I would come and get some parts for my 79 that was a theft and recovery and I need everything for the inside they got the dash and seats and the engine and transmission and the wheels so you can guess what I got back
by chance you wouldn't happen to have a set of door panels laying around with arm rests you would sell? Picked up a 79 that sat at a body shop for 2 years and someone stole the door panels lol also looking for a power lock door actuator latch passenger side! PayPal and venmo iam in Wisconisn!
On that blueish one with 3 wheels that had a complete engine in it, that you said would probably run; would someone want to buy that whole engine or will you part it out?
Open suggestion try placing some dunnage at front and back wheel location of car to make for loading and unloading on to the trailer for the forklift and I wouldn’t be surprised if the thieves were able to steal parts from them if they were even considering to check if they had catalytic converters to take also if they came equipped
I am from Canada can you please tell me where that scrap yard is I'm interested in all those cameras the 70s and 71 and 73 I'm interested in all of them can you please let me know where that thank you very much
Hello from Canada..That was fun..thx for taking us along
Excellent content, I always love hearing all the inside details as to what’s worth money. Very informative, keep up the good work 💯
I like to see the yellow one fixed up.
Sleeperdide will got it a fixan in 2. Weeks😊😊
Man! You scored!
I would love to be in your shoes.
Enjoy the video's, keep em coming

The ‘82s rear glass hatch is where the money is on those undesirable late c-3’s
_As well as any rear glass from the 1978 model to 1982 model._
We all have chores and errands to do, but I’d love my weekly chore to be fetching another corvette husk and go on a discovery mission
Fix the yellow one for car art
It would be a cool video series if you could take parts from the six parts cars in car something nice together.
I vote on giving the yellow one a chance. Great video

Even the C3 junkers look great as they are. Man,,,those lines
Been criminal to let these. Cars rot putside
I got excited when i saw the C4- I would be all over that one! My favorite C3's are the 68,69, 80,81,82
it's half of one
Not interested in the C4? Thats a shame. Thats how I got hooked on your channel. The white C4 you did years ago.
It was a similarly trashed 1984 wrecked in the front. Not even worth $200 and the guy wanted $2000
As someone like you who knows vette parts value and resells 'em, you would not have bought to lose money. You'll make out okay.
I can relate to the dude with the loader with no brakes. I loaded some 5K pound printing presses on a flat bed with an old military forklift with no brakes and it was most sketchy.
Restomod all of them as long as the bird Cage is good
I would definitely restore the 80 and 81

Nice find. I hope you can build a few good one’s from the parts cars.
Definitely all Parts Cars !!!!
I think the yellow one has the most potential....maybe. But you are the guru so I am sure you have a plan.
Wow lots of spares. Ok to fund one Good build.
2 pieces of 6x6 dunnage cut to fit your trailer would solve that loading issue. 463L cargo pallet 101 😊

Yeah, before the Russians do. 😂
I would buy all of the Camaros to
Another great video!
Those are rough! Hope you make money on them. I remember seeing the Bobby Sides stickers back in the day. It was a tote the note used car lot.

Glad you liked it!
Lucky Man! I see some other nice rides in there too👀
Part them all out and don't feel bad. Put your energy into something else. Great video I have been watching you for years.

10 years is a heck of a run for a 70s car.
Great video. Keep them coming!

Better you than me. Life is way too short to mess with messes like this.
Invest in a couple of 4x4 x8 to set those cars on. When loading with a loader the forks just slide right back off.
thanks ben!
The rich car guy liked trampolines, too 😂
Let's go chopstick, road trip !!
Hi Ben, The best thing you can do is part-out all of them. What about that '58 Chevy? As a change from Corvettes, ( I know they are you favorites), maybe work on the '58!
Id like to see the yellow one get saved. I know exactly what ad youre talking about and i always thought they looked good in yellow
I have a poster of that ad.
Nice one fella, The Architect of Corvettes. Ben yo the man
The steering column from the 77 is $$$$$$
Must be nice, once the ashtrays full just buy a new car. 🤣
Be great if you could get one decent car out of the 7 and still have a ton of parts. Sounds lick they will be low mileage (for the age) so hopefully the engines are sound. 2x👍
I had a ‘69 buick riviera which had 4 lighters and 6 ashtrays…..my son has a ‘67 mustang and he pulled out the lighter and was like, whats this????
Like to see the 78 or the yellow one rebuildt with what parts you can sell off the rest!
So sad that these were just left to rot when they were likely still good.
Nice haul!!!

nice buy thinks its for for a bigger trailer ,Texas style
On that gray primer 79 what would be used to restore that flexible rear tail piece or are they just trash when they get down to the yellow.

“I ain’t got no brakes” Slams it in reverse, ain’t got no trans now😂😂😂😂
that’s awesome!
Restomod the 81 and 80
I would Restore one corvette at a time
you can buy running driving ones for under 10k all day. None of these are worth putting a dime into.

Parts bonanza they Don't make them anymore. Sweet Ben
What parts? Everything is ruined/rusted. A few good body panels and some glass. Whoop-dee-do.
It so sorry to see all those great cars in this condition

Part them out. Make some money.
Take a good candidate an use parts of all of them to make a runner
how much for the yello one
you really need some 4x4 or 6x6 stringer's to make it easier to place these car's.
sweet score, use they will pay for themselfs
Nice video Ben
Why oh why would they remove ALL the t-tops on those cars! They would be in much better condition if the tops were left on...
Stolen, just like the radiators
Maybe stolen t-tops
I wish Georgia had junkyards, I’ve been wanting a 1978 since my second year of high school
A tidy 1978 daily driver isn't that expensive, why don't you get one? Life is short.
You got a driver side t top for 78pacecar mirror glass
You need Mr. Jennings from Jennings Motor Sports to work his magic on your Vettes!
Hey Ben. Got a 77 that I had a mechanic replace everything on the brake system- from master cylinder to lines , calipers etc. Now he can’t get a firm pedal after countless bleeding- HELP ? Any suggestions thank you !
Do you think the AC compressor can be resurrected from the 76?
Carry two 4x4's Ben and put them under the car so he can get out from under them.
A very good idea! I’ll use that for the next time
How does someone get in touch with you about buying parts?
If I wasn't so far away from you I would come and get some parts for my 79 that was a theft and recovery and I need everything for the inside they got the dash and seats and the engine and transmission and the wheels so you can guess what I got back
I ship parts daily
Well, I say you should part them all. Too much work to restore them. Worth more in parts I think.
Shes a GEM! 😁

All for parts
Great job Ben. Good luck with them and thanks for the video.
Start putting them out
Make a Frankenvette. Start with the best frame, and make a car. Some 1977, 1980, 1981 parts... jam it all together into a working car. Why not?
On that blueish one with 3 wheels that had a complete engine in it, that you said would probably run; would someone want to buy that whole engine or will you part it out?
Classic Corvette should have metal bumpers (both).
What happened to all the t tops....
All stolen, in addition to lots of other parts
NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM NEEDS SOME EXHIBITS FOR THEOR. NEXT SINKHOLE. EXHIBIT😅😅😅😅
Great video. Love to see you bring one back to life.
You shouldve put some 4x4 wood down front and back so he could get his forks out without angling down so much dragging across the trailer.
Open suggestion try placing some dunnage at front and back wheel location of car to make for loading and unloading on to the trailer for the forklift and I wouldn’t be surprised if the thieves were able to steal parts from them if they were even considering to check if they had catalytic converters to take also if they came equipped

I'd take a Camaro
Woof! Woof!
Cool video, but I think they are all parts cars.
Cool content I subscribed
What are the chances that '78 is a Limited Edition Indy Pace Car Replica Corvette with inverted-colors paint scheme and actual 200 miles on it?
looks like a bunch of parts to me. Good luck man!
where's all the T-ee Tops ?
