  • Kaiweets St 100 Multi Function Voltage Tester Review And Tear Down
In this video we look at the Kaiweets ST-100. While marketed as a "voltage tester" it is in fact a full featured DMM. It's unique form factor makes it very comfortable to hold.

Yes, I know my hands are large/fat. It's because of a heart condition I suffer from called Congestive Heart Failure. Here's a link to some information about CHF: cle.clinic/2TdS2Ux
One of the symptoms is that it causes fluid retention, mostly in the hands, feet/ankles, and face..

The continuity is a bit slow. Good one for a go bag. Thanks for the review!

Awesome Paul. I like Kaiweets meters. I have 2 and yes I have like 6 others including 2 old Radio Shack analog and 1 Heath Kit Vacuum tube meter.
Thanks for 8 years of content!

Sorry Paul it don't have enough protection for a sparky to use in the field fuses are needed

Just bought this meter to replace my NCV tester. My biggest qualm is the turn on time, too slow to replace an actual NCV tester for active field use. Second issue is it is a bit hard to turn while wearing gloves, typical NCV testers have one big button and turn on instantly. So not best for active day to day use as a sparky. Will make a great glove box, junk drawer meter. Can't have enough meters 😈

I have several Kaiweets meters. I'll pass on this one though. The HT118E is probably going to be my next meter.

You probably already have one in your chinese transistor tester.

      @@englishrupe01 No I don't have one that's why I need the schematic

@@singlesteve2011 Ah, OK. To be honest, even the cheapest ones (about $10, if you search) work very well and show ESR, capacitance, resistance, FET's, BJT's, diodes, etc and even measure inductance. But the parts would cost way more than just buying the tester. They use the STM32 that has a really clever program. However, i understand....it would still be fun to make one.

dont like it in auto - far too much delay for the beep in continuity
