Kansas City Royals Pitcher and How He Got Here

Amir Garrett is a professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals. He was born and raised in Las Vegas and attended high school at Findlay Prep, where he played both basketball and baseball. Garrett was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 2011, but his journey to the majors wasn't easy. He struggled early in his career and was demoted to the minor leagues multiple times.
