You truly are an artist! I believe your tutorials are the BEST I have ever seen....free or paid. You really should think of selling tutorials! Wow. I love watching your videos!!
Thanks Wendy! I got started in polymer clay about 7 or 8 years ago, creating OOAK mermaids & fairies. I had a bit of trouble with the brittleness of the clay with such large pieces (8-10inch sculptures) so I decided to change to jewelry since most everyone likes jewelry...lol...not everyone cares for mermaids & fairies like I do. Maybe I'll get brave & show a few of them someday. TFW Hugs Lyn
Thank you so much, I may have to go check it out. I used to sculpt mermaids & fairies & I would put a starfish on each of the mermaid stands somewhere. So I've made quite a few of those...lol. I probably should make a mold. TFW Lyn
Wow Lynn, so creative! I thought you had used molds when I seen your first sand dollar and star fish. Awesome. Did you know fairytalecraftss is having a challenge to create a captured fairy? For National Fairy Day. I am sure you could create something awesome. TFS ~ Roni
Thanks Stephanie! Funny you should ask...I just read up on that yesterday. Now I'm no expert so a little disclaimer here...I don't make any guarantees! What I read up on yesterday suggested that the polymer clay should be fine in an aquarium. Maybe go with the colored clay instead of one you would paint...I had a piece of transparent clay in my tank for over a year with no adverse effects but it is was an 80 gallon tank. I only removed it when I change out the deco. Research is hard to find...
Lyn, I prefer starfish chubby, too. The thin ones freak me out. I think those pieces turned out amazing! You make polymer clay look so fun. How did you get started playing with polymer clay? Hugs! Wendy
Very cool and beautiful work on your channel!😍😍😍 I just recently started doing some mixed media projects to add to my paintings for my friends and grandkids. Thank you for sharing your work and your help!!!💝💝💝xxx
But there are a few crafters that do aquarium deco out there & I know other have some testimonials, but no firm answers. So my suggestion is to try it at your own risk like I did. TFW Hope that was some help...lol. Lyn
