Heard an ex league pro say today even, some ppl just play video games by hitting buttons and dont think much beyond that.
Part of learning is willing to learn as well, and I think a lot of ppl watching just cant process much beyond the mechanical skill presented.
Comp games esp require a lot of learning & imo watching better players and trying to see how they think, and the habits they form is when a lot of ppl will mistake things for cheating when misunderstood & misapplied. Good vids.

please dont take this poorly its genuine criticism and i tried to not seem as rude as possible
so what exactly is your point? This was your argument, 1. ive talked to alot of cheaters, real money trading sites require ID, Somehow is able to confirm the age of cheaters and conveniently theyre all kids, so basically the people selling 50 LedX's on the store is not hacking or RWT'ing?
I am steel manning your argument here but thats genuinely how i understood your arguement
generally youre hopping all over the place with your argument first you bring up "people hack for RWT" then start going on a spiel about the semantics of what a hacker and a cheater is, then you get back on track, then immediately go on another spiel about how you hate parroting. which was the point for both of those topics and it in no way relates to real world trading of items.

The people that believe all or even a large amount of well known Tarkov streamers cheat fall into 3 categories. Those of us that play in Oceania also feel the level of cheating pretty keenly because of the proximity to certain countries. I respectfully disagree regarding the prevalence of RMT'ers, yes In NA for the vast majority it is not viable to profit off of RMT however there are a LOT of Chinese, former Soviet, and other economically challenged people from other countries that are in a spot where it COULD be viable to earn money this way, similar to the "runescape venezuelan mafia" if you are familiar with them. I've heard some Cheat Developers say that NA RMT'ers are still customers, and I'm inclined to believe that.
I think your logic of "I am in NA so these other countries don't apply to me" is very ridiculous due to this, I am Norwegian, I exclusively play NA due to how less ratty people are, my Russian friend does aswell, we know that everyone in the world CAN connect to NA if they want, be it using Mudfish VPN methods or just being right under the ping limit. (we are also aware that NA West has the most Chinese cheaters presumably due to their closer geography, and that Chinese cheaters are significantly more blatant)
I know you are saying this partly because you don't want to be seen as prejudiced or whatever because it can be a touchy subject, but I would argue it is just as prejudiced if not more to ignore and not acknowledge such facts just because of their identities being what it is.

The best aegument against people who think people like landmark cheat is that cheating software is a handicap. Like glasses, or wheelchairs, it degrades your abilities as you use them more and more because you get to play in an easier environment than if you didn't have cheats. You can see the difference simply in the way people like landmark or sheef move in the game. Most cheaters have horrible situational awareness and movement because they simply dont need those skills. The know where everyone is already because of the radar, and auto hit targets because of the aimbot. This will be the. Ase for 99% of cheaters.

    1. There where some parts during fresh wipe with landmark that made me really say how did he know? its ok to be skeptical about something, id rather ppl be skeptical then blindly say that someone cheats or doesn't cheat based on the level of skill that they have. 2. there are 100% cheaters that cheat for RMT, cs had a massive problem where ppl would hard cheat in casual then once the acc was lvl 15 and gained trust they would sell the acc so that other cheaters could hop right into comp as soon as they got banned on another acc, there has been cases in tarkov where a group would hire someone with cheats to kill juiced players and they would take their loot, and im sure that there are plenty other games that aren't in the spotlight it really just depends on the game itself. 3. you can get cheats very easy without needing to show an ID simply because paypal exists and other forms of payment but to my second point, once ppl have the software theres another form of revenue that these ppl have and thats selling accounts, rust has a huge issue with this. In terms of getting the cheats themselves there are cheat discords where you can talk with others, and im sure they also promote cheats as well.

I don't think every one who cheats does it for RMT. i also understand that the state of gaming not just tarkov is riddled with cheats. i stopped playing tarkov when the major cheat video came out and played several other games from APEX to SOT.... during this time they all had cheaters. and i thought to myself some of those games dont have even a real monetary gain behind it but Tarkov could very easily weather it be carry's or items etc.. and i realized cheating is just plaguing gaming not just the one game i enjoy either way cheaters are in every game and probably not always doing it for RMT. so now I'm back playing a game i enjoy and also feel the need to say either something clicked for me this wipe or this has been one of the easier wipes in tarkov. sure there are suss moments but sometimes its just bad luck not always a cheater.

You can't really say statistically speaking some of the prevalent streamers cheat. We've gotten a good idea how many cheaters there are in the general population but you can't just apply that to a non-random population. For example, it would be silly if you said 50% of people are women, therefor 50% of people playng tarkov are women.

jk of course, but I like this outlook and the attempt to be more objective
knowing that most cheaters are kids is even a bit inspiring, it makes me think I can win with my raw skill even if they are using wh or radar
tarkov probably has a lot of cheaters who are super mechanically bad, and one can use it too their advantage

    • @Diss3mbled

In researching for other videos I have seen cheating gameplay. They are truly terrible, even the adults. Regardless of what they say, they are cheating because they are bad at the game. You would probably be surprised to know how many cheaters you have killed. Even the people who are not entirely terrible mechanically can oftentimes lean too much on their software and you can outplay them.

Been suspicions of one and only one streamer in all my time playing Tarkov and its because of their after raid loot pics. I fully understand that people learn maps for high tier loot spawn areas and such and while this streamer has shown to be really good at the game something doesn't sit right with me when it comes to their loot. Its similar to someone I used to play with that I found out was cheating because of the weird looting patterns they had and how they would just leave rare shit behind because "I don't need it" when that item is extremely expensive like a GPU. Not dead set on them being one but sometimes pattern recognition is a bitch.

I dont even follow lvndmark on twitch. But I can tell that if you think he is cheating than you live a very average life and probably quit anything difficult in life and havent given 110% to any aspect of your life. Youre the same kind of person buying a 5 minute ab program during spring break rather than just going to the gym for 30mins a day for a couple months. Lost on the internet and Lost in life. All the people on reddit with 200 hours comparing themselves to someone with 20 thousand hours. In what hobby, dialogue, form of education, job, profession does that comparison make sense at all because I cant find one. Its one of the most basic laws of the universe.. if you do something over and over and over and over youll probably be quite good at it. Those same people probably work a 9-5 and they would consider themselves good at their job. lvndmark plays more hours a week than you work so it only makes even more sense that he would be good at his job. I cant believe it even still an arugement... instead of watching his highlight reels of his best moments just watch 45mins of his live stream and watch him get tarkov'd 6 times in a row. And the fact that people have started cheating because they think he is cheating... how much of a loser can you be.

@@Diss3mbled on eu and ru servers, rmt or boosting cheaters are more prevalent. Why do you think community overall jokes about chinese hackers? Because they could actually make money, and for your region this money isnt enough to drive someone to cheat for rmt, infact knowing US prices i dont think you can even survive on this. But in russia i know a guy who in 2021 bought a car (cheap one but a car nonetheless) with rmt money. China in some regions could be even poorer than russia so i have no doubt someone could see rmt as a way to make money. Also people from EU tend to play on US servers because they are easier/emptyer in general, but i doubt any chinese cheater could play on US servers since they are already using vpn and such to play on eu. Hope that you changed your opinion on this, and atleast understand that "NA region" could also be affected by things happening outside of it, lol.

i have a buddy who ive been playing with for over 3 years but i first met him, when another friend of mine invited him to play ranked with us. (r6s is the game it all began) we were platinum rank and the new guy was low gold.. within the first season of playing.. this guy shot up to the highest platinum rank and almost to diamond :D i was in disbelief, but i was slowly catching up!
now we both have roughly around 1k hours in tarkov (there is like a 300-500h difference with me having more) and id say we are on par with each other 😂

if legit players RMT why wouldn't cheaters?
i know of people who RMT with complete legit in game funds on multiple games
paypal or a direct wire or even just a gift cards doesn't really need any ID verification, if indian scammers can do it why cant a smell neck beard?
you say a listing on a site but you can find people in game to buy, no site or any other paywall needed
RMT is just trading, it doesn't even need to be a currency, you could trade items or even carries. Most people hack or get stolen cards and then buy game money and sell essentially stolen money
but i cant see a good reason someone cant make money from trading in a game if all the funds and items were legit, if you make more that $400 you have to report it on your taxes lmao
not every or even most cheats are paid for, only the scams. you dont even need to be running the cheat on the computer you are on, or even a computer period. servers and proxies allow for a world of wonder
you say they aren't hacking until they permanently break your install
if people flyhack around and rage hack no stop for little to know reason, wouldn't the possibility of making money be a bigger reason
runescape's economy is more stable than some countries, and people literally grind and farm and RMT as a job
