Thanks. I hope they do. But wouldn't expect anything to get done amount it. But, thinking about the parking lot next to the hotel, there's a path that leads back the entire way. At least they got that right.
When i saw the thumbnail for the video my thought before i clicked was "Wait why is the Sears Tower edited into the shot" Lol, it really does look like it! I was just in Chicago too so its still fresh in the mind. Anyways great update vid!!
Honestly, I think the tarps on Monte is because of paint removal. It looks like a hazmat situation, as Monte was probably painted with lead based paint since it was originally built in late 1977. Hello From Phoenix Arizona 🌡 🔥
Hello! Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. That they'll strip off the many layers of paint down to the metal, inspect everything, then give a fresh coat.
I saw in the beginning it was covered with tarps and being power washed, before they removed the lead paint. I just wonder if the spikes are going to look so different with the new theme Chris.❤
That's a great question! I honestly haven't even thought about that one. It would only feel right to go back to its original all yellow scheme. But I feel we'll see something different. Perhaps an earth tone?
Found out why Montezooma is completely covered. You might think it's because that they want to make the ride a surprise. That's not the case. They need to cover it to add new tracks and train and then paint the tracks which is why they need the cover. Then they will remove the white covers so people can see. I realize why it would be stupid to cover a ride that people will want to see get more progress.
Hopefully the money they cut from Camp Snoopy they put into Montezooma (Ron Howard: they didn't). If they spent like another couple hundred grand they could make the Beagle Express a great ride.
They went way over budget with the things they did do in Camp Snoopy. Which is why we saw things cut. Hopefully they don't go over budget with Montezooma and cut things.
New Knott’s Update!!!! Let’s go!
You make a good point about Knott’s needing a longer pathway in the parking lot. I hope they watched your video!!

2:55 I thought the same thing 😂

Haha! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that! And thanks!
Montezooma completely covered

@@rexnewcombe8337- From what I heard they removed the spikes, & sent them out to be refurbished & examined for metal fatigue.
@@pinball541 what I wanted to say is the towers to rethemed
@@rexnewcombe8337 - We'll have to see as opening day draws closer, but I hope Monte keeps it's traditional yellow paint color.
I wonder what color they're gonna paint Montezooma's Revenge.

I believe it's covered to contain the area as they remove all the old paint which contains lead.
I totally agree with that! Are you sure excited for this ride to reopen? I’ve had 5 dreams so far cause of the trailer.

I don’t know why it took the Ferris wheel down.
I'm guessing it was showing its age.
The app says jaguar is open is it actually open? 😮
I didn't see it running.
@AmericasCoasterNetwork darn. The lines have been so long due to fewer rides actually being open 😞 wonder if montezooma has anything to do with it 🤔
