BD-Live sucks because any content exclusive to that service was bound to be lost if shut down. Really sucks that none of this has and probably never will come to light, because a lot of whats shown here would've made for some great special features

If it ever did come back, (which is highly unlikely), I would go onto screen record them using and Elgato and a HDMI splitter in order to arrive them. So If they ever do come back, Transformers Behind The Scenes will be the first place to have them

Also please make a vid on the telepathic powers that the primes have in the movies(the fallen lifting up the tanks on the pyramid, sentinel prime and Optimus moving the matrix while not holding it, and Optimus prime moving the seed at the end of aoe)

Lost media, deleted scenes and behind the scenes footage are always so fascinating
Fun Fact: I used to watch the "Voices" featurette a lot when I was younger, particularly because I saw it archived on UA-cam, and man hearing Peter Cullen record his speech accompanied by the "Optimus" score by Steve Jablonsky will forever give me a lot of chills.
So judging that Shia and Megan are getting fanned by the crew members, it must have been hot that day.

I wouldn't be surprised if the intelligence mode starscream information was just completely inaccurate to the movie probably describing him as weak cowardly treacherous and incompetent even though he was never established as any of those things hioasfd. still very great video.
idk if you've already talked about this in the past but an interesting topic for maybe a youtube short could be on the devestator scenes from transformers rotf since if I'm remembering correctly from the director and writer commentary they had to completely redo those scenes due to poor communication haosdf feels bad for them damn
I had no clue the “Voices” extra was a BD-Live exclusive! I watch that video every now and again because of how cool it is to hear the voice actors behind the scenes.
It’s a huge shame that not everything was archived before it was shutdown, but I really hope that the content still exists somewhere and can resurface one day! Same thing goes for the IMAX scenes.

The bayverse rabbit hole only ever seems to get deeper, because there's still so much thing that we dont know regarding the decisions made for each movie and why some scenes were cut or never finished, the least they could do was release those on the Internet for us to view cause it doesn't mean anything to them now since they've already abandoned the bayverse
Especially alot of the behind the scenes, voice changes, and hell, maybe theres a video but also a video of the vehicles being made
Man this is really a shame...
Most of us, even watching the physical media wouldn't think to go looking for these extras
And the ones that did, didn't think they would have to record it before it was lost

Now I know what BD live is,I used to think it was some useless stuff.
It's a great video.
I honestly think it's important to archive lost content because when they aren't preserved by services like BD-live, it leads to content getting lost. Luckily, in this case, the majority of the footage was found and archived by an outside source or are in the film/behind the scenes features. Unfortunately there are few of them that are lost to time.
Say are you planning to talk about the Transformers 2007 ARG as it seems to fit in this topic of lost media.
Oh definitely, the Sector 7 ARG has a lot of lore to it, I just haven't found the time to put that one together yet
"Voices" and a few others are on the 2nd disc of the 2 disc DVD edition.

Actually, we got an answer as to why Fig's death was removed from te film. It was deliberate since the director and producers wanted to bring Amaury Nolasco back as Fig in the sequels, but this never came to fruition. The death scene was kept in the novelization, however.

I do remember once watching the Fig death scene over here on youtube several years ago, but can't say at the moment if the video is still available or buried under a bunch of Transformers videos released since then, but if i am ever able find it i'll make sure to share it.
