God bless our beautiful Guyana 🇬🇾 🙏 ❤ thank you my brother Danny for showing us this beautiful culture I'm so proud to be a Guyanese. Much Love from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦.
Yes we are the first people in our Beautiful Country Guyana 🇬🇾, Happy Heritage month to my Ameriandian brothers and sisters and thank you so much Denny ,your family to part take on our celebration 🍾 😊. I enjoyed every moment.
Great job showcasing Guyana’s first people, the Amerindians in Guyana are multi talented in craft , fishing , hunting, farming, mining etc and they certainly speak the most fluent English in Guyana, your video brings back some of the best experiences I had as a school teacher at Paruima village along the Kamarang river upper mazaruni district. It’s the only Arekuna village in Guyana , so beautiful I can write a book , continue the good work, can’t go wrong with Tuma& Cassava bread &worms.
Thanks for taking one for the team Danny…I know I wouldn’t have, lol. I’ve had labba but never the soft cassava bread, never knew there was soft and hard ones. Thanks for the education. Wish I had older relatives left alive to enlighten me about my Amerindian heritage. I really enjoyed your video sir. Much appreciation.
Very entertaining video. Danny you are brave to eat the worm, reminds me of andrew zimmern. Hope you go and video st cuthbert mission amerindian celebration this saturday that event is bigger.
Thank you for showcasing our first settlers in Guyana. I only read about them during my school days. They are indeed a humble race, unlike the rest of us-- never satisfied with what we have 😢!! We learnt an Amerindian folk song in school. Also some of their crafts. Making jewellery from buck beads and weaving baskets.Love their culture and hopefully, the present Government will provide more support to these lovely people. Love from the UK 🇬🇧
Amazing videos once again. Nice to see the amerindian community how they celebrate their heritage. Danny you have to visit Oriella next and St cuthbert mission usually have their own amerindian heritage celebration as well.
Last time I had Fly wine I nearly walked home from Moruca to Georgetown. It is great that u are able to show case some of the activities of Amerindian heritage month. I missed it. Hanging with friends and have a drink. Really appreciate u bring us this.
Thank you for showcasing the Amerindian culture. It's nice to see something different and to get the knowledge of another culture. That was so nice of you to take part in their tradition. You went on a real adventure going through the jungle and eating the the worm like a real jungle boy 😊. You're very brave to try the worm, I wouldn't 😊. The pepperpot looks like a nice spicy fish broth 😋. Amerindian are very quiet and peaceful people.

Over 35 years ago when I lived in Guyana a visitor came at my home ,reaped my sweet cassava ,and made that kind of bread. I did not see how it was made but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bon apatite !!

Thanks again Danny for being a True and Loyal Ambassador for your country Guyana. Showcasing The Native Amerindian Peoples in their natural habitat can't be more Authentic than that. Respect to You and Your Family My Brother for taking the time out and being part of their lives for the moment. The memory and impact on their lives will last a lifetime as you present The Amerindians in their humble ways to the World. Be Blessed.
Historians belief that Indigenous people came to America 25k years ago, crossing the Bering Strait. The Norwegian Government just sign a deal with Guyana Govt to preserve their Forest worth US $250 millions for a 5 year period. It is important that the Government of Guyana do not left these people behind. They need to spend some of that money on the Indigenous community improving education, quality of life, medicine etc. I think Denny should be the Minister of Amerindians Affairs(lol). This is a great Video. Thank You.
