Automatic Trim Tabs from Mente Marine, Real deal or gimmick?

In this video, I give you my thoughts and experience with the Automatic Trim Tab Controller or ACS from Mente Marine.
This is basically the same controller as the Lectrotab
Installed on a 2003 Sea Ray Sundancer 260

I have this system on My 18 flot sportfisher, and I absolutly love it.
I never adjust in manual. Set it up, and forget abort it.

We have a 2000 260 sundancer and will definitely be doing this upgrade along with the stereo.

Hi, nice video. I have Bennett on my 2006 Sea Ray 245 Sundancer, and is about to install the Mente Marine ACS. How did you wire up the ACS on your 260 SD ? On my Bennett switches I have 2 x 6 sockets incl. Red + Black Ground, red (blue stripe), green, yellow and blue. Should I simply disconnect the wires I need for the ACS, and leave the rest attached to the old switches (tucked away behind the ACS) ? Thanks for the other fine videos w/Shower Pump and Stereo. Hi. I’m about to buy automatic leveling controller and I’m wondering if you considered Lenco’s version of this type of product since you already had Lenco tabs. I think it’s called Auto Glide. Did you look into both?

i have a (( 2000 sea ray 240 sundancer )) and i have the factory trim tab its working good can i remove my trim switch and install this one or i have to change all the unit ?
please let me know so i can buy one .

IF you have Bennet,s you need the automatic kit as the rams on the stern need wires to them , we have put these twice on our own boats .
