I served Brian Cox his breakfast at the Borough hotel on Causewayside, Edinburgh a good few years ago and he came across to me like a very pleasant man that treats people how he’d like to be treated despite his fame and fortune. One of Scotland’s finest! 🍻

Great interview, wonderful sitting here listening in Paris as a fellow Dundonian who has also gone abroad for my career and it was wonderful to hear a bit more about his journey from, yet love of, our hometown and his growing up on the same streets of stobbie! Scotland is fortunate to have such a brilliant advocate and son as Brian Cox!

I always thought that this actor was an American because he can do an American accent so well. Most Americans are not familiar with him, but he is a very talented actor.

I remember him from his excellent VA work. He was amazing in Manhunt.

I am not saying Cox is not genuine in his socialist philosophy but he has made his wealth on other capitalist taking risk to produce and finance the films he has taken part in. What was his financial risk in these ventures? I would be interested to know. Maybe he would have been an actor even if he was unsuccessful but his own industry is one of financial risk.

I think the other acor in Braveheart and Rob Roy was Peter Mullen. The excellent atcor and writer/director of The Magdalene Sisters.

I fantasize that he's Zeus in Thor Love and Thunder. No offense to Russel Crowe.
