@@chriskunce3331 Our next sizes for Lockers will be 9 ad 9.5 . We plan to also re-introduce the GK Thunderbird series which will be 10" and above. These new T-Birds will be completely re-designed from the ground up using our latest technology
dope setup dude the new skate tech is always crazy because idk how these will last compared to a plain set of indy's which can last a crippled casual like me years on end
If I remember correctly from one of their videos recently. The owner George was saying that the dimensions are based on Indys because he loved that truck so much. So in theory they should behave more like an independent than any other truck.
I ran a pair of Grind Kings from around 2001 until 2022. I'm not a heavy skater though, but it took a 20ish years and a 3 ft. drop to finally break a well worn truck
You made these an easy sell for many, including myself. Also Powell-Peralta has been killing it this decade, and so have you! It also reminds me, I need a new deck because the session I had the other day was rough! My mom was in the hospital for treating a recent stroke and medication issues, so having the local park in the town she was staying was great. Skating and the Lord Jesus Christ have always gotten me through tough times, grateful for every day.
i've been stoked on grindking since the '90s and still have a few old pairs, as well as other trucks with gk kingpins or bushings. cool company, they make solid products
@@caseycameron5370 i also liked that the axles didn't slip. i had, actually still have, 2 pairs of thunder lows that i really liked but both slipped axles pretty quickly and it soured me on the brand ever since. i didn't try them again for almost 30 years and only bc i saw a hardly ridden quitter complete on marketplace for $15 with 148 forged hollow lights
I never new grind king was still around they were my favorite trucks back in 2006 thought they went out of business wish I could find them they are still hands down best trucks ever produced
I remember watching a video where Don the owner addressed the fact that people were worried about the baseplate sliding. I believe he said they made the spot where the bolts go through the deck into the truck narrower so that way you don't get any sliding. Edit: name
i still have some g5 highs and 2 sets of g7s, but they're all 7.65". still work on an 8" with wide enough wheels. i also have other trucks with gk kingpins or bushings
i like the color. i kinda wish the size was cast on the other side of the hangar, but it doesn't really matter. you can hardly see it with the wheels on
It could only move if it were simply a straight slot, thats why there's tooth looking shape. But the reason it's also not just 3 holes is because the distance center to center is less than the diameter of the bolt, they overlap a tiny bit. So each slot is just under a bolt width of adjustment.
As on old pool skater, I really wish GK had made a 9” available immediately. I think they missed a large market with us old guys wanting big trucks with enough $$$ to risk trying them out.
I love the idea with the cut outs for weight saving but I wonder how they would take a big drop. Like a big big drop. The hanger takes the impact and spreads it equally between the bush pack and pivot cup. With and standard truck hanger, there's a lot of material linking the axle to the bush loop. These have a hell of a lot cut out, in that area. Its a wicked idea and I love the shape. Just worried about the strength. Xx
As if Grind King's bases weren't fragile enough... let's add more bigger holes! Spectre Trucks did this same kind of thing except down the center of the hanger.
not really sure i wanna give grind king another try. their kingpins always seem to snap and you cant just hammer them out and hope for the best like most other trucks
What's the impact of hump in the center for old schoolers that 5-0 at the center of the truck? Does it slip off the center in favor of the notches no matter what?
I have an old school set green hanger black bass plate. Made my daughter a loft bed Brian kings are holding up a misery black and white Hannibal Lecter
Mogely, you were really lockin in on those proper! Loved the slo mo effects. You're on the GK Test Pilot Team fo sure!
Non-stop promotion, great choice!
Definitely add Mogely to the team, when it becomes a possibility!
Release the bigger sizes. You’re missing a large group of us old pool guys willing to spend $$$ to try something new.

Yeah mogley it's the shit!
Grind King put bro on ASAP!
dude, mogely on grind king not only makes sense but would be hype af.
The slow motion clips were very helpful in seeing how they really worked.
The trucks high key look sick , plus the color goes so well with that deck graphic. Big vibez , W mogez
I cannot wait to get mind.. I have loved GK since I was a teen.
Should have mine by February .
Appreciate the content .
I’ve been riding old Grind King for years. I’ve always loved them. Just got a new pair in today and can’t wait to see how these ride.
Dan Corrigan did a pretty good review on these trucks as well but I think Mogleys Slow Motion really helped you see how they work!
The blue ones look way better than the orange !
dans lol
Best review ive seen from these.
Hands down with the slow mo he really gave it a good review no have fast
Best skater on them out .. REALLY put them through paces and showed their capability.

thats crazy how the back truck in the bs febble into fs feeble just got in place so well
those trucks are sick i didnt even see that about the baseplate. total custom wheelbase that is incredible engineering
That grip is 💥💥💥,Those Lockers are making their mark and they arent even RELEASED yet
I never new grind king was still around they were my favorite trucks back in 2006 thought they went out of business wish I could find them they are still hands down best trucks ever produced
They were out of business for about 10 years.
Damn!!! Slow motion edits are legit. Makes me reminisce of Girl’s Yeah Right segment with Paul Rodrigues.
*Rodriguez, my bad!

Don is the owner , George is the owner of Powell . 😊
@viracocha03 haha nice catch 😂 I have no idea why I said George 😂
I used to skate the Grind King flag series trucks, the raw ones. Were my favourite truck. Gutted when they stopped making them.
i still have some g5 highs and 2 sets of g7s, but they're all 7.65". still work on an 8" with wide enough wheels. i also have other trucks with gk kingpins or bushings
GK! Brutal slow mo! 😊
Grindking's back 🤌
Damn went into the switch crook before that gap in the ledges
Great video! Got a pair immediately after watching! Can’t wait to get my pinch on! 🤌
Great review. It seems quite a few skaters have had very positive things to say about these trucks.
Dude this is sick. Love the slow mo close ups.
Those trucks really lock you in
Saw Dan did a review the other day too
Guess I lagged hard in posting my vid.
@@Mogely 😜 na still just as important
@@larryrodriguez6008 yeah, more perspectives the better
Obviously I loved the bs Willy 180.
nice vide Mogely
This is dope content. I love this review.
Very interesting and intriguing trucks
They look dope
nice, the slowmo really showed what was going on.
Good review!
Amazing! I have to get a pair this weekend.

GK, put this guy on
Those horse riding pants though ...😂
Insane 😂
these are kinda sick
Great demo Mogely! Hope they sell them in Europe.
Dan Corrigan has the best video on these so far very thorough.

mo is so sick🔥🔥🔥
The crook to 50-50 blew my mind
Youre making me want to try a pair. Saw somebody else do a vid on these and it was weak compared to this vid. Wont name names lol

will be adding a 9 And 9.5

I-beams are.made the same way. Mass doesn't equal strength.
2:15 🤣🤣🤣
Grind king new truck “lockHerup”
7:25 bro flew lol
This reminds me of that old school UA-cam skate content shit like 09 - 2010 type
Brooooo. Wanted to show some support.
Pre worn trucks ? Half the life of a regular truck . I like making my own grooves.
Dang, grind king is still around and poppin'?? GK is 90s old school 👏🏼 you should get some cooler grip tape homie! 😄 No Hate ♥️ 😜 nice skating 🥳

Dude I’m sold where could I buy some you rip it dude that was a fun video to watch 🎉

I cant wait to get a pair. Whats the weight like?

Christmas complete
those are cool, they kind of remind me of krux trucks. hey just woundering are they still making revive boards?
Idk I’m not on revive, I skate Powell boards
@@Mogely oh ok thanks, i know they had alot of problems and they shut down not sure if they were making them.
Yeah, I watched the video too. I think they might do month-to-month but I’m not too sure.
Hey what wheel width do you use? Are they the widest dragons?
I miss this park so much
Mogely, what's your wheel of choice, size and durometer?
How do they turn?
Pretty sure bushings will make it however you want
Yeah, bushings have a shit ton of ways to be set up and change the turn sharpness.
They turn somewhere between Ace trucks and Krux 4th gen.
They have the same geometry as Indy.
@@vorpalblades that's helpful, thank you 🙏
Are you on the Powell Team or Flow? If you are not on the team. I hope you will be soon.
He's a soul skater for life.
those are nice size of wheel what are those Mo.. ?
Look like X series.
put grip underneath to keep them from sliding
under the truck u mean?
would they be good for transition skating?
Based on what other reviewers have said, YES! Transition and round rails seem to be where the grooves really shine.
Anyone know the height in mm of these trucks? GK doesn’t say on the website
🗣HOW WELL DO THEY TURN & HANDLE SPEEDS???
Wonder how many kids are going to buy them and go straight for a rail and get broken off when they cant grind round rails yet
They'll survive.
how much will they be
and how do i pre order a pair
