Make sure Ableton is closed before installing the scripts. - Third, in Live itself, have you set TouchDesigner as a Control Surface in the Ableton Preferences? - Fourth, as TouchDesigner and Ableton will be communicating via OSC, make sure you aren't blocking network connectivity for either program via a firewall. Unfortunately no, the closest you can get is the current level of the track, which could be used with a Trail CHOP to get a time-based visual, but not the same as the waveform. 8:01 What if don't have so much parameters acivated in abletonSong1 node? They don't react to what timeline, tempo and samples in Ableton project. But tdAbletonPackage in TouchDesigner are connected to Ableton

A couple things to check: • Do you have Ableton Live Suite? This requires Max for Live access, meaning it won't work with the Standard or Intro versions. • Have you installed the remote scripts? It sounds like you have, but double check that you've installed them for the right version of Ableton. • Which version of Ableton are you using? Make sure that you're using the correct version for your version of Live. • Make sure the Ableton Port parameter on the TDA_Master device on Live's master track matches the Ableton Port parameter on the tdAbleton component in TouchDesigner.

We don't currently have one, but I have sent the topic over to the team for consideration as a future video! Since TDAbleton uses OSC, it is fully network capable (meaning you can run TD on one machine and Ableton on another).
