If you are a beginner, and you are not yet sure if you can keep succulents alive, learn about the plants first. It will save you from frustrations and money as well.
Because these plants are not like the common plants we see every day. The more you treat them the same as other plants, the more they do not like it.
The most common cause of failure is giving them too much water or exposing them to sunlight when they are not ready.

I only have < 10 succulents in my tiny garden so far and I’ve been watching your videos to hopefully get some luck with my propagation. I also bought your book just a few days ago. I ordered cuttings from you few weeks ago! They’re all beautiful I wish to keep their bright red orange colors. I will water them after 2 weeks like you said and when do I expose them to the sun? Thank you!

Lalo Ortiz, it depends. Some days, I water them thoroughly. Some days, just sparingly. More or less, an hour to an hour and a half.
