For those who haven't worked out the reference, it's Infinite as Mysterio from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

As someone who just finished Sonic Adventure for the first time ever the other week, I can finally theorize that the difference between the Chaos Emeralds' positive and negative energy affecting Sonic would be that the emeralds' negative energy would turn him into Dark Super Sonic.
