Never been to one, so I can't help you there. xD I'm from Europe, there aren't many SPN conventions around here, and they are usually far away from where I live. But I'm sure it's going to be great so have fun^^
I think that this has to be my favorite character arc for Dean. I mean, the Mark of Cain made sense, but he still felt remorse for everything he'd done with the blade. Thinking about how demons fucked them over and was the ultimate cause for their suffering early on, and how determined they were to view every last one of them as monsters to kill, then, just when things can't get any worse. Dean becomes the thing he hates most, pure and un-remorseful evil with absolutely no empathy. It was such a change from the character that we'd spent 10 years at that point growing with and loving and hurting with. And, also, pretty badass. This was very well edited and the song choice was killer, nice job.
DAMN, I really wish we could’ve gotten like half a season of Demon Dean. Or at least like a third. Honestly some of Jensens best work on the show. I understand it was because of the 200th episode (which was incredible), but Demon Dean was just so much fun to watch!
