There is a difference though between nasi lemak and nasi uduk. To me nasi uduk is more flavourful. If u look up the recipe, nasi uduk has more ingredients than nasi lemak.

just FYI, there are two kinds of nasi uduk seller in indonesia, one is the one you just tried that only sold in the morning for breakfast with tempe, bihun, egg, krupuk, etc. and the other one is sold at night for dinner (this one is actually my fav), you can find a lot of them on the street starting at 6pm, they usually have a tent with pictures of chicken, catfish (lele), duck, etc with "nasi uduk/pecel ayam" written on it. They sell nasi uduk with indonesian fried (or grilled) chicken, fried catfish, chicken organs, tofu, tempe, etc. The sambal usually very good but spicy. This is a must try. Oh btw you won't find nasi goreng in the morning, because they only sold at night. nasi goreng for breakfst only popular at home and hotels.
Fyi..its little bit hard to find nasi goreng in the morning, usually the nasi goreng vendor open in the afternoon, but in restaurant you can find it all the time

You should try those porridge in the cups at the early part of the video. Basically it's a kind of rice (we call it ketan). The left ones (greenish brown) is mung bean porridge, the middle ones is black rice (kinda soury and sweet) an the right ones are rice cakes with ketan porridge topped with melted coconut sugar).

Taste of the rice in nasi uduk has different, because seller mixed santan (old coconut milk) make the rice taste different from ordinary rice, It's different again when you meet seller yellow rice in the morning and all food that i explain here is originally from Bandung, like the cilok you ate in the previous video. That's BAKWAN (Fried Vegetables with Flour), was not Mash Potato as you mentioned. The Mash Potato is PERKEDEL. That Cracker is called KERUPUK. Also that's not Glass Noodles but Rice Noodle. If I'm not wrong, Alfamart or Indomaret also expanded to The Philippines, right? The first one you ask does it a juice or not? No that's not. It's BUBUR SUMSUM. The Green one is Green Beans. You mentioned BAKSO, That's MIE AYAM with BAKSO (Meat Balls). Mie Ayam is Chicken Noodles, that's a Jakarta famous noodles. You can find it everywhere in Jakarta, specially on the street.

For ur Info the foods that u touched and u tought JUIce are Poridge ( Green bean poridge (kacang Ijo) sumsum Poridge (bubur sumsum) and another of Poridge usually that was only 5000 per cup u can try it then, if u want to try many kind of Street food just come to Sabang street at night u can go there by Transjakarta Bus get in from Tosari Shelter Busway and get of to Sarinah Shelter and follow the direction or if u wanna have free ride just wait at the bus stop and wait the Bus GR-1 and stop at sarinah This Bus is Free for Public (Senayan to Harmoni) and if u dont rush u can walk along Thamrin CBD its not too far and not take long time and also u get benefits to see anything along ur way there.. Thats not mashed potato, its called bakwan. Which is vegetable fritter. You can make it your own at home. Its very easy to make. Mashed potato here in Indonesia called "perkedel".

Nasi lemak usually has only fried spicy anchovy, half of boiled egg, sambal, cucumber and fried peanut. Nasi uduk is much more flexible.

That food u've been eaten was NASI UDUK not nasi lemak they have dfrent eventhoug abit siniliar and some of them (nasi uduk) completted with Bakwan (fried vegetables), fried tempe orek with sambal and sunny side up with sambal and some nodle (bihun completed with sambal and sweet soy sauce) and the las one was Crackers ( Kerupuk ). Many kind of nasi uduk depends on the saler but the rice is always same just side dish that they provided sonetimes is dfrent. If u find Nasi Goreng u wony't found it, no ppl sale nasi goreng in the morning, nasi goreng always availbe at noon and evening but Nasi uduk always could be found at morning and evening ( in evening the sales has dfrnt of nasi uduk ) ( nasi uduk completed by fried chicken and some sambal and others ) u can try it at Nasi Uduk Kebon Kacang, the stall not far from hotel where u're stay in. For ur Info the foods that u touched and u tought JUIce are Poridge ( Green bean poridge (kacang Ijo) sumsum Poridge (bubur sumsum) and another of Poridge usually that was only 5000 per cup u can try it then, if u want to try many kind of Street food just come to Sabang street at night u can go there by Transjakarta Bus get in from Tosari Shelter Busway and get of to Sarinah Shelter and follow the direction or if u wanna have free ride just wait at the bus stop and wait the Bus GR-1 and stop at sarinah This Bus is Free for Public (Senayan to Harmoni) and if u dont rush u can walk along Thamrin CBD its not too far and not take long time and also u get benefits to see anything along ur way there.. If u wanna go to the mall near ur hotel there are Grand Indo, plaza Indo and Thamrin City ( thamrin city is Whole sale mall ), enjoy Jakarta!
