Why is Zenmarket so expensive?
@@bigdaddyb2078 Overheads.
@The Hangar Bay what are those
@@bigdaddyb2078 Employee salaries, rent for the shipping warehouse, accountancy services, internal shipping within Japan (to acquire the item), international postage, packing material and some amount of profit to make the business venture worth the start-up cost and risk.
Mecha Gaikotsu Yesterday I bought this MG just because it looked cool and I was a bit fearful it would be flimsy (like my MG Qubeley... You know what I'm talking about)... BUT now, hearing from you that it has resisted time I just can't wait for it to arrive and build it, brings a relief to me and makes me think that it was worth getting an LED unit. (I wonder how would it look when using my Blue LED unit)
the Jesta cannon is to a Gundam what Warachine is to Ironman.
It even looks kinda like Warmachine.
@@benkavin1473 And he's a badass
Overall worse but shoulder mounted weapons are dope
The Jesta and its variants are to a Gundam what the Iron Legion is to Iron Man.
Do ya one better a odst
To a spartan
I'm gonna die on this point.

I was actually thinking about that today, but I'm going to have to build a new one because its been so long!
*Or 👏 PG 👏 UNICORN 👏*
Finally, our lord and savior gonna revive it.
*COME ON I JUST SAID IM NOT GONNA BUY ANOTHER MASTER GRADE KIT*
Saaaaaaaaaammmmmeee same
You said you wouldnt buy another kit until you finished your current one.
Your backlog says . . . .
that was a lie.
jesta is pretty cheap if you cant find a jc. imo it is worth the price you just dont get extra parts as mentioned.
That's a cool joke there, bud.
Bramson Bambival you have RX 78 likes
R.I.P your unicorn, sinanju, mammoth of a kit boi, and delta plus
I prefer the 3.0 hands because not only are the more advanced posing options you can get as well as the 2.0 hands that have a hinge at the middle of the fingers, but I would love to see a hybrid between the 2 hands with the posability and the accessory peg of the 3.0 hands but the wrist of the 2.0
The Jesta Cannon is a successor of the GM but not a GM.
The Jesta Cannon is developed from the Jesta, which in turn is developed from the Jegan, which in turn is developed from the GM III.
It's a GM-type mobile suit, as designated by the RGM in its model number. But since it, and the Jegan, aren't supposed to Mass-Production versions of a Gundam (GM stands for Gundam Mass-Production type), they aren't given the name GM.
It's actually WAY more then that if you read the on it. It's few steps behind been a full blown Unicorn.
thank you
@@jonatassilva2605 what
@@harrisabdullah6339 well you see, the Jestas are few steps closer to be as powerful as Unicorn
Watched this 🅱️efore hittin' the Gundam shop. Some would say I was *JESTA* in time
A surprise review of one of the most underrated kits ever. Love my Jesta!
Jesta is one of the few suits to get the Tacti-cool look. Hope they do it more often.
Your editing skills are sick my man.. no wonder you are the most subscribed gunplayer..reviews are quick. precise.. finished even before you get bored. Keep it up man..
Have two of the standard Jesta and one cannon variant to represent the squad from the series.
They look so go on display and that's as straight builds (with the optional LED units).
Years down the track, they are still standing tall and looking good too ;)
Love the Jesta! Personal favorite cannon mobile suit in Gundam. It looks super tactical, lots of customization that can be done, the suit preformed well, and it's not cannon fodder. Good review. Hope you revisit the Jesta HGs one day.
new to gunpla and just built the HG jesta... absolutely love it. will be getting these two for sure
Two things. One, I like the posable hands, but I most prefer when a kit comes with posable hands AND static hands (like Sinanju Stein Narrative version Ver.Ka). Having a dedicated hand just for the rifle grip was a galaxy brain move on Bandai's part and really gives the best bang for buck. Second thing.... It can be argued that the Jesta Cannon isn't carrying ammo for itself, but rather its non-Cannon variant teammates. Fairly common practice in some irl military doctrine.
Cannon still carries a standard beam rifle. Shoulder cannons are aux weapons
And considering it’s meant to be inspired by real spec ops and more modern warfighters, I’d bet the MG looking beam rifle is meant to hold the normal mags, they just didn’t model it
PG hands are by far my favorite, they may not hold as good, but I have found that to be marginal with the MGs I have. Including MG Barbatos namely, have him in the box art pose now but the hands were certainly fighting me. Besides, the PG hands have pegs all the same as any other hand style for weapons. I don't mind spending longer getting a pose I'll be happy with for months or years.
This is definitely a cool kit. I have the standard version and love everything except the hands. I was carefully trying to move the hands just to put them together and they fell apart on me.
As for my favourtie MG hands it has to go 1. Swapable fingers, 2 pegs in hand with 3 finger trigger finger split, then the PG style hands just because of the horrible experience I had with them building the MG Jesta.
I will always go with pg style hands over the others. You can simply do more with them and they add so much more to the kits that have them. Swappable fingers are simply the worst and always feel like cut corners, as well as being utterly limiting. 3-1-thumb hands are serviceable for what they are, but they are limiting to a degree. However, at least they won't fall apart or get lost like swappable fingers.
Was also my first hg to customize, i painted it pink 😂
Review MG Jesta Shezarr Type, dude.
*SCREW IT, GIVE US MG FULL ARMOR GUNDAM THUNDERBOLT PART 2!!!!*
Jesta Shezarr MG coming soon! Can't wait to get it
Alfian Fahmi I got the mg jesta shezarr type team b&c
Love the Jesta, and I've already ordered the Jesta Cannon. Can't wait to build!
I find what you say about these two quite funny. Of the three bootlegs I have ever grabbed (hundreds of the real thing on the shelf) this one is also the only one that has held up and needed very little work to assemble. It also has almost identical coloring to my MG Jesta and the extra shield attached to the other side of it's backpack with no effort.
Hey Mecha Gaikotsu! This video gave me an ideo for a suggestion:
Perhaps you could start reviewing older master grades in your collection every now and then? I'd love to see a bunch that were featured but never got proper video.
Loved this review. Jesta is special to me since it was my first kit after a very long hiatus, and I've been hooked ever since.
MECHA you're the one I only trust when I need to choose gunpla to buy and build it never lets me down
Just bought the Jesta a few days ago and I must say I made the right choice picking my first MG. It was a fun build.
Also, I like the fact that you put the LED in your review. I got mine ordered because of this review!
I like how you incorporate the old kit reviews on your Pbandai kits. Keep it up.
I never realized just how bad ass the jest was like the fact that it has 90 percent of the operational capability of the nu gundam

Mecha: The best GM Master Grades!
GM Dominance: Ya Sure?
GM Jegan: I'll grab my quitar first!
Nice hand articulation. From a yeet to a middle finger. This is why I subbed.
I love the full action fingers that move independently
best grunt suit ever!
I like the HG style hands not the finger swapping or anything else, I like them because they are bigger so won’t getl lost won’t get mixed up and they are more stable when holding stuff, you don’t have to watch out for the fingers falling off
Hell yea you’ve been killing it with the uploads❤️😁
They're meant to operate as a squad, so I assume the standard beam rifle mags are extra for the rest of the squad. Many modern light machine gun type weapons can use standard magazines as backup too now
I just got the MG Jesta normal. I’m excited to build it already.
Mecha: You're just asking to break the peg.
Me: From personalize experience, YUP (and i hate it because I loved it)
I know you got a lot to do but, I kinda miss that you don’t build all the optional stuff anymore just to show it off. Would have love to see what it’s alternate color looks like for this kit. Kinda what brought me to your channel in the first place since so other reviewer shows that kind of stuff off. Anyway still love your content and your merch designs are seriously amazing keep it up 👌🏼
If we do get a Unicorn 2.0, it would benefit with a much more stable stand adapter, implementing the knee gimmick from the GM Jesta, which would allow more pose-ability without having to remove any armor, and having a more stable chest unit.
i really like the type of hands that came with the hi-res barbatos due to it being a lot easier and stable for my poses
I wish more kits came with the fully posable hands. Or at least the ones i can buy on amazon weren't so insanely priced.
Just "finished" the MG Jesta. Ordered some 3D-printed fixed hands off eBay because the stock hands pretty much exploded as soon as they came off the runner.
You can hear the fear in Mecha's voice when the hand pops off the wrist.
The thing you said about unicorn kits, is sadly true
I have a MG Banshee, the shoulders fall apart when transforming, and the left knee part broke and cant slide out anymore
This was a Christmas present 😔

This is Why i love individually articulated fingers.
3:56
I like the type of hand that come with Mg zaku2.0 or gundam2.0 expresive yet good to hold something
You gonna get a second regular jesta for craps and/or giggles to complete the squad?
Am I the only one who adores the reflex sight on the rifle? It's a rad design
Dammit I just went to a Gunpla store in Korea few days ago and never tried to find this P-Bandai..Big sad
the first ever gunpla that I have is MG jesta, it's a daban model but I love it
Jesta reminds me of master chief from Halo
2.0 Hands & 3.0 hands for me are the best.
Jegan ECOAS type also looks pretty nice imo. In terms of ones without actual kits, GM sniper III and GM striker custom tops my list I think.
For Gundam hands, I definitely like having articulation as a while ago I was an avid stop motion animator, and if I was able to use something that wasn’t clay that stained my hands, and it had good articulation, I loved it. And that does carry over to my gunpla now. I love me some good articulated fingers, and all the ones with the PG hands always hold on pretty tight. My second favourite hands would probably be the swappable fingers with a semi articulated thumb. My least favourite ay be the hands on the MG Zaku 2. The fingers become loose easily and they can’t hold on that well to the weapons
I'm new in this world of Gundam and Gunpla, and i love the way this one looks, and also like the command colony type, the Jesta and the Jegan, i like that police/military style. I've seen those have a "GM" in their names. Does It mean something? It's like a series of those look like models? I would love to find more os these type gundam and gunpla
Hey man. You're in for a lore. Story-wise the "GM" units are mass production versions of the Gundam, however as someone pointed earlier, not all of them are developed from
a/the Gundam. Grunt units in a military force. The GM most likely stands for "Gundam Mass-produced".
Hey, mecha gaikotsu great vid you’ve made really want to buy one. I’ve got a suggestion for a gundam to review and it’s the Heavyarms. I mainly ask this because it seems good but I’m not sure if I should buy it. If u could that would be great thanks and keep up the good work 👍🏼
The GM made to be thrown of to the ocean, Respect for Watts : D
I prefer the Perfect Grade style hands, used in this kit especially, as they are much more posable than others.
Definately the swappable hands as those are the more sturdy option and are much more likely to be able to hold stuff. To me if the fingers can move...it usually means the weapon is going to fall out and if the weapon falls out then whats the point of those fingers moving. Only way I'll be happy with the fingers is if I've seen a couple of reviews and all reviews say that those movable fingers are sturdy and can hold the stuff it's supposed to.
all hail looks and firepower for jesta cannon hands down
so much coolness in this one
Finding myself warming up the the grunt series of mobile suits.
The jesta is my all time favorite gunpla kit
How I love the Jesta's design and I have yet to get a Jesta. Backlog thwarts me!
I prefer the swappable finger types that the GM Command and GM Sniper 2 have. I just finished the GM Sniper 2 White Dingo version and it doesn’t come with the runner to make the swappable finger hands only the same type of hands that the jesta use and some of the fingers just fall out of the hand.
I personally prefer the swappable fingers as they are more stable in the long run (admittedly I don't own a lot of Master Grade kits).
Jesta has always been my fav grunt suit.
I’m going to PG style hands but. BUT! I do like the swappable figures because they wrist is more solid
I love the perfect grade hands because: 3:11
Funny how the more simpler-looking MS survived the test of time over the fancier-looking ones. Makes me wonder what was Bandai so high with when they were designing them....
At any rate, I guess now have another one in my list of must-buy MG's.
It was the mecha designers that work in Sunrise that did them though.
I do have one question,
Jesta, GM Sniper 2, or Jegan? Master Grade Version
Just finished the standard Jesta MG last night and I love it, only problem I had with the build? I managed to snap off a finger at one of the joints so it can't be fixed and there's no way for me to order the manipulators from Canada.... damn you Bandai and your non international shipping ways!
I also was sad when one of the wrist joints for my mg Alex 2.0 broke and couldn't order any reply parts from the US. But when googling I came across a website that someone made where you can send him the information needed and he will order the parts and then ship them to you. He has been doing if for a few years and people have given him good reviews. If you want I can send you his website link.
Considering that the Jesta was able to easily take down a Zeta Plus unit in Gundam Unicorn, I can see why it’s model kit is still standing.
Also I love the ball jointed posable fingers over the replaceable ones.
For me the fest hands by far are the ones that came with the GM Sniper Custom, the trigger finger and three finger split with an extra joint in the fingers, followed by the PG style hands. But honestly I find that both articulated hands and interchangeable fingers really are always lacking on their own so what I want is for Bandai to include both options, like they did with the MG Geara Doga. Have best of both worlds.
while jimjim here comes with individual fingers, i feel that the replaceable finger parts better match his spirit- basic, but it won't break down on you quite as easily.
This is how i know he's not sugarcoating the kit. ITS WONDERFUL I HAVE IT MYSELF
Gotta say Jesta (and pretty much any GM variant ever) is in my Top 3 grunt suits with Graze and Grimoire. Too bad that Jesta Cannon is hard to get (especially at Finland because of customs make it hard to order rom outside Europe), but as someone who likes customizing I'd prefer getting normal MG Jesta and building my own heavy armor version of it :)
The double peg system on the PG type hands on my Gundam 3.0 is the best. This thing has never dropped weapons on me
You could say this is the 1/100 MG Jesta Review Revive Version XD
Also I've always loved the Jesta Canon and in MG, I can't say no
I love Jesta. They look like they're the S.W.A.T. team of GM's
I have one of the regular Jesta. I want one more regular and then a sniper and this cannon. I want to make a squad based diorama out of them.
I like the perfect grade type because I can flip the bird without any modification
Cool and all but, what we really want to see is the KING of all GUNPLA The BALL!
Hyakushiki's hands are my favorite for MGs
I want this kit so bad for a custom paint idea I had a while back. Shame its so expensive!
Ayy it´s the full armor GM! Seriously though, this Kit is awesome.
I will be building my first mg jesta shezarr type team b&c
Been waiting for this for years
regular jesta is worth the price. good looking simple cheap and overall awesome kit.
This is a great MG, impressive!
honestly i like the PG style hands that came with the hi nu ver ka and the stein. but the inside palm wrist rotation peg sucks
When I see how cool the MG Jesta Cannon looks, I just think, "Why oh why did they not make a MG GM Custom Canon from 0083???"
Ended up getting it damn. Didn't think it'd look that good.
You should check out the geara doga its a great kit and if you want you can get the sleeves version
Need a Jesta for my GM specialty squad, it's not easy to get a hold of now though.
honestly I feel like the Jesta is one of the best kits I've touched, it's just so good in every way pretty much. It's a very similar build to the Jegan honestly.
Perfect grade hand are....... SAVAGE!
MG Jesta Cannon is my first gunpla 😙
Use an end of a drill bit for hip drop joints
Lit today i was searching some gundam and was going to buy this but end up buying the MG RX-0 Unicorn
Major oof on your part man, the mg unicorn honestly sucks. If you're going to get any unicorn ALWAYS go for the rg. If it hasn't been that long I would go as far as to cancel your mg unicorn order
Nice, very nice... This was rhe kit that I've always wanted you to review, Mecha... Thanks, man...😎👍😎👍😎👍
I have the HG jesta cannon although it is a bit flimsy and the hand can't really carry the gun really well because I think the gun is too heavy for it. I hope there isn't the same problem for the MG
