Hi Magarita🙂, There were several West African elements but it is also Japanese inspired. -Oyin specified that the fig tree was significant to them both, seeing it growing up in West Africa. -The welcome mat in Twi, and most importantly, the actual people, lol. -The husband created some of the furniture, so that would be furniture made by a West African designer.😍
I couldnt believe this is a Brooklyn apartment(condo). They did an amazing job renovating and redecorating.😃👌🏾😃👌🏾
