As a student you can stay and get OWP but you need to separate your wife and baby unless you get a TEER specific job. Just imagine the amount of mental trauma the canadian government gave to us after this announcement. They want us to leave or take a break with the family after consuming all my fees, my time and my effort to be here.
Getting a PR is optional for international students. It is not guaranteed and government has no obligation to invite family members to here. You can always go back to your home country to unite with your family.

If there is a Tier 4 job and the application is submitted between January 15 to 20, it will be considered eligible
