AJ I’m jealous you know the song so well- I gotta train more. Love from Canada the land where ToysRus never dies. The store I grew up with is still there at the same spot, I go there several times a year. It is actually one of the last few locations from my childhood that are still present to this day. Great milestone let’s celebrate we made history 🎉
Phil, you may be jealous of my skill in recalling jingles, but I am jealous of your surroundings! The store you grew up with still stands? That is amazing! I thought all the stores had closed before its recent return, but apparently your stores in Canada (and other countries) actually had different owners. I learn something new every day!!! Check it out: "In many jurisdictions outside of the US, Toys R Us Stores operated as a licensed brand that other companies operated, or were wholly owned subsidiaries which were technically different operating companies. As a result, these companies were not impacted by the bankruptcy of Toys R Us."
Great show AJ. I have 5 kids (3 from a previous marriage and 1 with my wife now, and she had a 1 year old when we met, but I’m the only dad she knows). Sometimes it seems that the worse our dads did, the better it makes us want to be, knowing what not to do I guess. Just the fact that you know what you would have liked him to do better, I bet you do those things with your kids. ❤
Wow, 5 kids total! That's awesome Mike! I sometimes wish I had that many kids. The idea of them all sitting around a Holiday dinner table together as adults one day, I don't know but for some reason just hits me in the feels. I hear about the vicious cycle repeating itself all the time, but like you said, at least for me it is exactly as you say. My Dad taught me what not to do and I've bern doing the opposite with my kids ever since. I guess for some people learning what not to do may be stronger than learning what to do. It's interesting.
@@foreterniaofficial and like you said, we want our kids to be better than us, so hopefully anything bad I or you do, they will learn and be even better parents than us 👍🏼 Gotta say I’m loving these late night episodes, it’s like hanging with a fellow MOTU fan, cuz yeah we’d talk lots of MOTU, but I’m sure most of us would talk about ourselves too. Feels like we get to know you on a personal level!
@@mikep2629 Thanks Mike! I think I am finally finding a groove with these For Eternia Late Nights and I always appreciate your feedback because I never know for certain how I'm doing... especially when I start rambling on about personal issues good or bad. But you are so right, you make a fantastic point. We wouldn't JUST be talking MOTU if we were hanging out, would we? Thanks for always giving me the perspective I always seem to need. Appreciate it my friend!
I knew Webstor was really high in price, now it's in the Classics' price band. I knew because I started collecting Masterverse with caution (still attached to Classics) but now I consider myself a Masterverse collector (but not a completist), so I was looking for those characters I missed to try to buy them now, and found that Webstor was out of my league now. I0m surprised to see NA He-Man in 2nd place! I love NE Stratos, so I'm happy he got this appreciation.
I love NE Stratos too! He is one of my favorites in the entire line! Regarding Webstor, I was just chatting with Arukkard in a different comment thread and thinking perhaps with Webstor... considering it was in the last 'original' wave with the old Masterverse V1 packaging and the V1s were no longer showing up at retail to that point, I wonder if that last wave had a minimal production run and that is why it became valuable so quickly. 🤔
@@foreterniaofficial that could be the case, or collectors just loved him? He has something that makes him different: he looks classic and updated at the same time, he's simple yet effective and appealing in his design, and lastly, instead of the classic arachnid monster face, I see him with the face of one of those ancient Asian demons.
@@franciscomarchenag Wow! I didn't see that comparison at all until you just said it my friend. He does have this sort of Eastern Demon Mask feel to him. Wow! You have great vision, thanks for sharing that!
Also, I can’t wait to hear a reaction about this news from Toy Guru, who has been trying hard to convince us that adult demographic was only around 5% or so in the toy business. Hold my beer🎉
What a bummer. So sorry to hear that. So far (thankfully) I always had a good experience with BigBadToyStore. Not only have they never canceled a pre-order on me, they usually seem to order more just for inventory, ready-to-ship, if I receive my pre-order and end up deciding I want another one.
@@foreterniaofficial Oh, I had not ordered it from BBTS, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding! Here in italy I preordered it from mycomics italian site, but when the release date arrived they contacted me to tell me that they had to delete my order because Webstor was out of stock. Unfortunately here in italy the situation for action figures collectors is grim, as I said somewhere in For Eternia site forums as Altered Quantum. Now Webstor is available only at very high prices, and I really cannot afford it so lightheartedly!

Totally understand the top three most valuable figures, those three have a really poor distribution for the rest of the world or directly no distribution at all like Man-at-arms V2 Revelation and NA He-man 🥲
Those U.S. Target Exclusive figures were indeed harder on international collectors. I wish Mattel approached those with a different strategy with the worldwide market in mind. 😕 With Webstor and (to a lesser degree) Prince Adam, they both came from that last wave in the V1 old Masterverse packaging. The V1 Masterverse waves were no longer showing at retail at that point so I wonder if that wave had minimal production runs. 🤔
I can tell you are a great dad AJ. Your kids are lucky to have you. Happy father's day.
That's really nice to say. Thanks. Hopefully they would agree with you! 😀

Good luck! Hopefully you find good deals on both. (They are really good figures!)
