Just started a 5 acre forest farm in Nantahala and I truly hope to be selling my mushrooms, fruits, and nuts to these fine folks. To be a part of this type of community is the true American dream. God bless y’all!
All we ever new.and that was enough.contentment for what is at hand.making it do and growing in the process of life.GOD providing needs and rewarding in HIS time some for others to see what we have is real.to draw those on the outside to GODS side.these kind and humble people are a testimony to GODS goodness.Thank You.
Tim and Scott. Enjoyed this so much. Cap and Hoye are my first cousins. I grew up playing and going to school with them and they are some of my favorites. Ellen C
When I started a "shop local" compaign...I had no idea how to pull that off...now, I buy much of my food at stores like yours...and I am about to double down...start wearing NC grown cotton tee shirts...dyed by natures colors...and I suspect as people seek real stuff, NC may be on their radar....if the recent flood doesn't land the Appalachia on the chopping block...all of us should empty our pockets...before we allow that to happen...NC farmers, last time I checked, had held off selling the most land to Bill Gates...I think we were holding at 900ish acres...where other parts of the country twice/thrice as much sold already....Watermelon man warned me during chemo that watermelons were about to become extinct....I could go on and on...about the conversations I shared with this gentleman on the tailgate of his truck....I had to go underground to find REAL FOOD when grocery stores couldn't sell me safe food.... ua-cam.com/video/8ehLY2Q-jQU/v-deo.html
