Just started it, up to season 2 and loving it. Makes me miss how tv shows used to be. Sorbo also kills the captain role, better than any other actor in that same type of role. No one can do a honourable and caring but ruthless when he needs to be. No one but Sorbo.
I like the story he told about Lake Minnetonka, I had no idea Tonka toys were made by the lake Prince name dropped in Purple Rain. Those trucks were literally indestructible!
Tier Anisasi out of Victoria by Barbarossa? I enjoyed both shows. The thing about AI. Andromeda were presented as an AI? Yet, there is a difference between AI and entity. A human being, God, or Satan, or even Zeus, would be an entity. An AI might play chess with you, yet be unable to respond to an emergency. An entity can. It isn’t a gripe on my part, merely as I watched the show, I started thinking about this difference. I think Andromeda were more an entity than an AI. Lt Commander Data would be another example of entity, not merely a robot. I would like to have seen Captain Hunt more successful. I think Hercules can be a hard role to pull off. I also think Kevin did a good job at it. No doubt that both shows had other good staffs.
I still rewatch Hercules and Andromeda from time to time. I just started rewatching Andromeda today actually.
Thanks for sharing, wish I was there in 2012... missing Andromeda and Hercules both hehe
*ANDROMEDA*
if you want, need, love sci fi ... this show is a must!
unfortunately a lot of people do not get what a gem it is! and it is quite a gem!
Loved the show! Didn't like how he ended up, the guy lost his mind, he's a religious Q nutjob now.
I love Andromeda
