For anyone wondering, the bar/restaurant is The Wayside Oasis Bar and Grill.....their camp is along the Wickenburg Rd about a 1/2 mile before the lake.
upstream of the lake. A series of roads, but due to lake level, various options exist. Look for the confluence of the Big Sandy and Santa Maria river on google earth. Have fun! Oh, it is legal in this area as long as you are "below full pool elevation". Beyond that it is wilderness. The topo sheet shows that boundary....

Ain't no easy way to get to Alamo lake!! 3 roads and all of them bad!
