- This video is a side by side comparison of Disneyland’s Fantasmic and Walt Disney World’s both. The video on the side will stop depending on when the shows line up with each other.

It reconfirmed my feeling that the Disneyland version is better.
The Pirate ship, more wizard Mickey, it looks like WDW is still using the older style dragon.
I like that wdw has a stadium built for fantasmic with seating, but it's also magical at disneyland that the show happens right on the rivers of America that you can visit all day before the show takes place.
Disneyland’s will forever be the G.O.A.T!
What I love in the Disneyland Version
1. The new animation sequence to the Sorcerer’s Apprentice
2. The Princesses segments
3. The new animation sequence for Night on Bald Mountain
4. The Murphy dragon in the end
What I love in the Walt Disney World Version
1. The jungle segment as while as the bubble segment
2. The removal of the old Pocahontas segment and added a bunch of new and old Disney animated movies such as Mulan, Aladdin, Frozen II and Moana
3. The extra villains, other than the Evil Queen, Ursula, Chernabog, and Maleficent.
Disney World does the finale better, and the seating is very important to keep the audience comfortable (it’s a long show). But the setting (Rivers of America) at DL is amazing and the show is really good too
Fantasmic version at WDW uses to much background light. At times you can't even see what is going on stage.
I think it just has to do with the atmosphere as wdws looks more foggy
Only thing better in the wdw version is the singers in the princess Part. Other than that disneyland is better
I’d say that WDW has a few more things than that. The seating is obviously better, I think the Jafar snake is way better than the jungle snake in Disneyland and the evil Queen transformation is still there and is great.
I went to both this year! Disneyland had better Fantasmic in my opinion but Disney world had better fireworks( magic kingdom)
Did you see the new Wondrous Journeys show at Disneyland or was it Mickeys Mix Magic?
WDW makes me feel nostalgic unlike DL so I'm saying WDW....

Ever since Disneyland got rid of the Peter Pan scene and the Evil Queen transformation, it went to 2nd place. WDW has so many villains! I love that.
I just wish WDW had a legit dragon like Disneyland does.
Disneyland has a pirate ship fight and the Mark Twain is triple the size of Steam Boat Willie's boat. Why is this even a conversation? This is like trying to compare Dinosaur to Indiana Jones.
Yeah but Disney worlds stadium makes up for a lot we have frozen Moana and a bigger show over all better effects and good seating
@@austinmartin1308 Ok, you win on the comfortability of your seating....but also, it's kind of cool, that our Fantasmic is organically part of our main park. Nothing feels better after getting out of Fantasmic and walking down Main Street. I'm not a little girl, I'll take a pirate ship fight over Frozen and Moana.....Better effects? Your Dragon looks like it was made for a middle school art project.
Disneyland is better
Definitely I think the update they made to the WDW version made it better than the original WDW version however still not close to Disneyland

Unfortunately they ruined the Fantasmic at Disneyland when it returned last night so I’ll have to say WDW is better. Disneyland used to be cool back in 2017
Wished that they didn’t return the Peter Pan segment and still kept pirates
@@DizDreamMC I actually think bringing back Peter Pan was one the only good changes they made. To me it felt like they took the worst parts of Fantasmic 2.0 and 1.0 (aside from Peter Pan). The worst part is how they sucked the color out of it, a lot of the scenes are less colorful than before the 2017 update. They should have brought back the 1992 soundtrack because it's way better imo. My main problem is all the narrative issues with F! 2.0, for example Mickey shouldn't be in the sorcerer outfit until the end yet he's in it during "Friend Like Me" and while talking to the magic mirror (which he shouldn't be doing). The removal of the witch transformation is stupid.
They went for a Surplus boat for WDW over the extravagant steamboat in Disneyland.... like seriously why?
It’s because in Hollywood Studios, they have a purpose built theater while in Disneyland, It’s located within the rivers of America and the boat is the Mark Twain River boat, which has been in Disneyland since opening day. The Mark Twain was never built specifically for Fantasmic!, they retrofitted it to work for the show, if they have built fantasmic on the rivers of America in Magic Kingdom, then it would’ve used the Liberty Bell river boat, which is very similar in scale in size to the mark twain. My guess as to why they didn’t build a bigger boat for Hollywood studios is that they spent too much money on building the theater and didn’t feel like putting in nearly as much for the actual show which includes elements like the boat at the end.
@@starship824 I thinK WDW is overdue for a remake since there’s just so much Disneyland has added to their Fantasmic that makes it the superior one. I get how well it worked for Disneyland to have Fantasmic at Frontierland and have the mark twain boat for multi purposes. I guess they felt it really is waste of money to craft another boat on Hollywood studios just for one show
@@pallafox I agree, but since they added that big new heroes scene and upgraded a lot of the technology in the Hollywood Studios version, they’re probably not gonna mess with the show for a long time
@@starship824 I believe this video was taken before dragon fire at Disneyland. This year, Fantasmic will return at Disneyland, but without the dragon.
I like dinesy world the most they had siting areas you can see while thing end show amazing job walt dinesy word all time great thing u wdw gave me best moments never had I love you dream alive ❤ 💙
