- The reality behind swimming with Orca's in December:
Day 1:
A LOT of humpback
2 Drops with Humpbacks
Day 2:
A lot more Humpbacks
Orca with a baby sighting
A lone Male Orca travelling sighted too
3 drops with Humpback. 0 with Orca
Day 3:
Extremely rough sea conditions
Zero Drops in the water
Witnessed a full pod of Orcas travelling
No drops with Orca
Gopro went through a lot so it didn't survive the cold and water very well. So, a lot of the footage is very blurry and the water is very dark in December.
Would definetly recommend going earlier in the year to see more and if travelling in December then I would recommend a light attachment for any cameras in the water!
Other than that I would highly recommend the trip in general but Orca Norway as a company is a ln absolute must! We had such an incredible experience and the trip from start to finish was just amazing!!!
This just might be the most beautiful scene I have ever seen.
Thanks for notifying us how dark is in December
Not that dark. I was in there last week.
Lindo trabalho, apreciando a natureza. ❤😢
Beautiful video! so many whales!
Nice video! I booked a trip for late December. There was no orcas to dive with?
There were a lot of Orca's at that time but we unfortunately didn't get to swim with them. I do believe that the group after us (so later December) got in with them :)
@@charlotteenglish5213 oh? Last question, why wasn’t your group able to swim with them? Okay thank you! My trip is in late December
@@jacobbravo8270 the orcas either want you or they don't - they chose. If they don't want you near them they will just leave. We just didn't manage to get close enough for long enough for a drop.
It's really just luck tbh! So fingers crossed you'll get a few drops with them. And if you don't for the first day or 2 , don't get discouraged!!
Hi majda from Holland may i ask what for camera you use for underwater?
I used my gopro hero 9 with a light attachment from Amazon just because I went during the darkest month. It would have been perfect but my gopro ended up fogging up on me so be careful of that!
How much it cost?
35,000 NOK for a 3 day expedition with the company Orca Norway. There is a 6 day as well.
@@charlotteenglish5213 Thank You
