    Dear Manufacturers: I'm not specifying, or buying, test bench hardware that requires a software subscription to use installed features.

      Same issue. Had a unit on demo, but the annual ransom to be able use a core functionality of the product was too much. Plus the Benchvue suite is pretty buggy.

    Yeah, $5,000.00 hardware that requires a subscription for its main functionality. That's a hard NOPE!

    A battery emulator would have helped a lit on my current project ...would have made the design phase a lot more reliable. 😂 when you transition towards real engineering tools start to matter a lot more....😢

    $5000 and subscription software? yeah, no. i'm beginning to wonder who element14 is making videos for. hobbyists or megacorporations?

    Keysight = stuff i will never be able to afford but i really, really want.

    What are those I/O and sense ports connectors called?

      Quick disconnect screw terminals.

    I wouldn't get this unless I had the use for it and money to buy it including the monthly fees. This would be great I need to make sure my products that needs a battery would work well. In turn this would make money to use. Most people shouldn't buy this item because it for people who makes electronics to sell.
