I feel the HomePod is at a slight disadvantage here, both the others are forward facing, the HomePod is 360 with 3 sides obstructed with objects. The phantom is impressive when facing the tweeter, stand off to the side and it’s a mess of bass, although still very impressive mess :)

@@abielpangga6314 I did just now and can only confirm my impressions. It all kinds of lags anyway but it may be due to room acoustics with stationary waves. BUT there's one thing you can't miss: on a sound there's the attack, the sustained sound and finally the release. The release is sluggish due to room resonances in my opinion, but the attack can help telling things apart. Here the speed of attack on the KEF light years away from the Devialet. To my ears when listening through a UA-cam compressed video. I'll give it another listen with high-end cans plus a dedicated amp and dac, for the sake of triple checing.
1st choice : Kef = more rounded, balanced & no sweet spot sound. 2nd choice : Reactor for the incredible bass sub but sound metalic and hf too much high 3rd choice : homepod good bass but voices seems to be in retreat
Devialet produces sluggish bass, not tight enough, with that obnoxious boomy effect. KEF has a perfectly tight bass and treble is clean and not fatiguing. The homepad isn't even on the ring...
KEF LSX will win hands down. Music was made to come out of two speakers and not a single point like the Devialet or HomePod. Plus if you then buy two Devialet’s you then end up paying 2k and that’s the same price as the larger and much better KEF LS50 wireless speakers....
But the use cases are different. You buy the Phantoms for portability and ease of use. I agree it’s overpriced still. And anyway, don’t be so certain about the differences with a pair of LSX’s - this co parison video is flawed in that they’re demo’ing the 600, not the more powerful 900 model.
abiel pangga the Devialet sounds like the sound is coming out of a box. The HomePod even more so. The KEF sounds like you’re listening to live music. That’s why I prefer it to the other two.
Test very poorly done. The delay of change between the speakers is so long that it is impossible to remember what we learned previously: ineffective comparison! Otherwise, Kef sleeps much better: Devialet sounds grossly, without nuances, Apple has no musicality!

I have a pair of KEF LSX in combination with XTZ 10.17 SW, they are outrageous! 😎
I need a sub for them.
1. Kef 00:10 Deviate 1:29
2. 3:57 5:17
3. 7:39 8:55
Reactor is absolute hip hop legit
OMG , the reactor goes illegally low on bass for it's size.
What kind of test is this? Two of those are in a mono setup, KEFs are stereo!?
Try buying a single lsx
Audfile Or maybe set up the HomePod and Phantom as stereo?
@@Macrike waste of time, it's not that deep, you already have the sound impressions pretty much.
@@Audfile 🤣 rofl (Thanks man, at least you seem to know the idiocy of the question being posed…)
devialet phantom looks like a small vacuum cleaner
Dyson deluxe lmao
Phantom reactor has impressive size/sound
If the bass isn’t there I’m not there I’d take the reactor all day
I’m glad to see someones not afraid of copyright, playing bangers

Even a single reactor rapes stereo KEF. What more if it was Phantom 108db model
Devialet sounds very too boomy and less clear than they lsx, I don’t compare HomePod which is just awkward
It’s the opposite. What headphones did you use? Lsx is boomier and doesn’t pick the lower sub bass notes

@@arnomalkic610mieux que les sonos 100/300. Definitivement plus de bass

Devialet sounds so GOOD!!!
its a placebo

Boomy, not a high end sound I fear... I'd go for KEF (even though I'm French!)

What model of the phantom 600 or 900?
Lagaw Lagaw Channel 600

Christophe-Olivier Guglielmi KEF bass is great. I tried getting an external sub but decided I didn’t need it.
No it’s the opposite. Listen with good headphones
Kef is missing the lowest note in the first song and the bass is boomier overall

Home pod is a bit hollow in the high ranges... I still kinda want one although I have a reactor. Hmmm Siri
