Moonlight Peaks just released their demo! I don't know how long it is, but it's a cute life/farm type sim but you're a vampire!
"I was distracted when he fell down because I could see his bags" is making me laugh, alone, in my kitchen omg
2 seconds into the game and morph's commentary on the hairy "full moon" has me cackling. I won't lie it's not just the games you pick to play that get my attention but more importantly your commentary throughout the videos. it makes me feel as if I'm in the same room with you watching you play and that's something no other UA-cam gamer has ever done which says a lot since with you your voice is all we get and that seems to feel like more than enough compared to those who do the face cam as well
Aw yes. Spooky games with Morph make for an epic weekend opener! Can't wait to see what's in store. Take care, y'all!❤
8:23 this type of commentary is why you're one of my favorite gamers lmao 😭
Same here 😂😂😂
"Ah! That's a winkle!" 😂
the graphics on this game are absolutely beautiful. Madmorph has become one of my new favorite channels I swear I have to watch at least 1 video every day.
aww thanks
I can't play horror games alone so I love getting to watch my you play, it's like I'm chilling while my friend has to make all the life and death reactions
And I just ordered a pizza from domino’s so we know what I’m gonna be doing
Pizza is always a good choice
Watching this, I kept thinking how much the environment reminds me of when I went hiking in Washington. Sure enough, this takes place in fictional locations in Washington 😄
As someone who lives in Washington, I concur. They nailed the environment of a temperate rainforest.
we back in the game 🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀ anderson's mind palace reminds me of hannibal along with the deer motif
Yes!!! Watching you play spooky games always makes me happy!! So ready for this!
My favourite season is winter because I can wear more than just a t shirt and even get to wear jackets and coats. Living in a hot climate, the rest of the year is often too unpleasant to be outside. And I always liked seeing snow, and the way it makes the world feel still and soft.
I know what I'm doing tonight!! Thanks, Morph!! Sending love to everyone reading this, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! 💙💙
I'm looking forward to this one! Thank u, Morph! X-Files and The Mentalist, two of my favorite detective-y shows😊
I’m from Washington State and I miss the mountains and ocean everyday. My husband and I take our girls on a cross country road trip every couple of years, it’s lovely. Love your videos!
Must be hard to grow up surrounded by it and leave it! It's so stunning!
the actors name is Shawn Ashmore I think its him he also played Conrad in man of Madan , I hope that helps and awesome video again thank you for the content as always, I'm a look into this game :). I played the first one but wasn't to sure about the first one but the graphics in this look pretty awesome another game I'm a have to add to my library .
Difficult to pick one detective/mystery series/movie over another, but these shows are all great and their influences are obvious also in AW2, whether its chemistry, location, atmosphere, themes, investigation techniques or plain weird/supernatural. IMO it's insane how many favorite shows they have managed to combine into one singular piece of artwork for us to experience as protagonist(s).
- True Detective (season 1) (detective story, detective chemistry, mood, symbols, rituals, cult theme)
- X-Files (dective/mystery story, FBI agent chemistry, weird/supernatural, flashlights in the dark, atmosphere, FBC)
- Twin Peaks (series/movie) (detective/mystery story, location: Pacific NorthWest, FBI agent,lweird/supernatural, coffee enthusiasm, diner/waitress, silly characters, atmosphere)
- Hannibal (series) (detective story, investigation technique, profiling with intuition, deer symbol, darkness theme, solving serial kills)
- Se7en (detective story, detective chemistry, NYC atmosphere)
- Memento (mystery story, investigating without memory)
- Silence of the Lamb (detective story, FBI agent, darkness theme, solving serial kills)
- Inception (mystery story, dream sharing, infiltrating subconscious etc)
- Videodrome (mystery story, fiction vs reality)
Ooo this looks so good! Strapping in for a horror-ific time during peak spooky season 🦇🎉
13:36 OMG I love your commentary
I just finished the Spiderman play through and then this comes out on my day off!!! wooo!!!!
Yesss!!! This looks so good! Already excited for part 2. Thanks morph!
So excited for the next!
YES! Sooo excited to watch this. Thank you so much for playing it! You are in my top three favorite UA-camrs :)
this setting reminds me SO MUCH of your Lake playthrough from a few years ago morph!!
Omg i loved it so much! I'm looking forward to watching part 2 under a cozy blanket with my cat! Glad you feel better Morph, take good care of yourself ❤
Ooo, the spooks are real, love it. Can't wait to see the rest Morph!
Watching this on Scare Bear Saturday !!! Loving this play through !!
I laughed quite hard when he said i got destructed as i saw his bags between his lags
1:18:28 The Kalevala is a Finnish saga. And her name is Saga. Interesting, I wouldn't be surprised to see a fire bird, a forge or a Sampo further along this story. Let's continue watching...
4:56, 16:49, 56:05, 56:10.
Adding these to my vocabulary. You’re welcome.
the summer camp I went to as a kid was on Skeleton Lake. nothing bad happened there ... that I know of
Love this playthrough
omg i GASPHED when i heard her name, my name is Saga :)) it’s a swedish name (i think, cause i’m from sweden)
I have to see the rest of this playthrough! Please upload more! ❤😊
Part 2 is up now!
Ooohhh, this is so intriguing! What if Saga is involved more than she thinks? All her “intuition” is not an intuition, but something that she remembers?
I wonder if “Taken” are real? Or does Saga just walk around shooting trees? Or what if they are like real police officers, and she is hallucinating and killing real people without knowing it?
So good!
This game is so good! I'm a sucker for seeing you play horror games and i loved this one, the story/writting, the way it progresses, the graphics... Can't wait to see more.
P.s.: 01:53:15 - Thank you! My best friend kept asking me if you were going to continue Dracula on your podcast, she thought you were going to continue now on halloween and was so upset when you didn't upload anymore chapters.
It gets requested a lot, we're 50% through but i'll end up going back to it at some point i'm sure
@@MadMorph We would love if you got back to it, but also please take care of yourself, hope you're getting better and don't strain yourself too much.
Wait, I'm confused. How does Saga hear the deep creepy voice in her mind place? She just goes to her mind place, closes her eyes, the voice speak weird riddles to her, and she suddenly knows a fact like 'there's something put in the body', and Casey just goes with it without asking how she came to that conclusion?
I love this lol
Morph I'll be happy to take you on a road trip if u visit the US you'd love it 😅
Yes!! Excited to watch this I loved the first Alan Wake! Patiently waiting for more BG3 but this is a great substitute!
Whaaaaat this game is insanely good!
I'm a writer and editor and Alan Wake lore is 🤯. thank you, Morphy!!
The Lady of Lore (@TiptoeTheTank) has a fantastic series of lore videos on Alan Wake and Control (they're in the same universe); she has a great witty voice like this channel, too 🤓
I shouldn't be watching this at home alone but...
Its a bit disconnecting my suspension of disbelief that she just pulls the information she needs out of thin air.. like she couldnt possibly know the heart is at the general store based on her own experience. maybe its supernatural? Idk.. Mystery games dont really work when the player isnt given clues, but Saga just Knows Things™ if she thinks abt it hard enough. Hopefully it will get explained by the game :/
is game on steam?
alot more fun when you played the first one
❤
Full game I 2 hrs tho
Full game? Just 2h? 😭
I would've been distracted in the intro as well, Morph. If there's dangly bits, my attention is undivided. Damn you, UA-cam! That said, you can turn nudity off in the main menu if you really want.
Anyways - this game looks amazing and I'm so happy you're playing! I've been having a proper struggle with life these last few months, and I have to say that finding you and your channel recently has helped me in so many ways. Thank you. 🩷
I can’t remember if you mentioned it in this episode or the second one as I watched both together but I feel you on the American diner pipe dream clashing with your wheat free life, I’m coeliac and so I feel like all my hopes of proper American pancakes are dashed 🥲
