If you are new to virtual staging, this is the right video to start learning. (tutorial not suitable for beginners)
Software: 3DS MAX; CORONA RENDERER
In this video tutorial, I am presenting you how to stage virtually the right way by using 6 rules which I have developed to help me virtually stage by using a real design approach, more than 900 properties per year.
The whole process reduced my turnaround time and improved design. You might be thinking that doing virtual staging in 2020 is easy, as there are so many websites with assets where you can just drag and drop. In reality, overall, the conversion rate of the "cataloged" virtually staged real estate is poor.
If you are new to 3ds max and Corona renderer, you might not be able to follow the exact steps which I show in the video, but you can learn the structure of every virtual staging image.

Hi Paul. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I have received an e-mail already feedback about the music. In the next video, background music will be at a very low volume, so it will be easier to hear.

Hello George! Your tutorials are amazing, a simple way to learn something that seems complicated. A question, in case of lighting the scene with CoronaSun or HDRI, what should be loaded in the enviroment map?

Hi Matias. Thanks for your comment. I advise you to not use HDRI or Corona Sun for Virtual Staging; The sun does not work as good as it should be with the shadow catcher when you have enclosed spaces like rooms for example. I am planing a video on this topic where I'll catch entirely the lighting part of the virtual staging. I Will let you know when this is out. Thanks

Thanks for the great video. I want to learn how to do virtual staging. I’m new to it and so need a little more detail in the steps you explained . For example how you put an item of furniture in the room. I am learning the program but do not really know the details in how to use it. Could you help me out or perhaps recommend another place I can go to to learn these details?

I will be using photos of empty rooms and need to know all the details of how to import those photos into 3ds max and then add furniture to the room. I want to be able to do virtual staging for real estate agencies. I really appreciate your help.

It's about how to import a photo and adjust the camera perspective. These two steps are the base for any virtual staging.

I am not getting your result. Afywr rendering, i don't get shadows in the image, how did you do yours. I foowed everything you explained in the video.
At which part your shadows fail? You don't get shadows from you models at all during interactive rendering, or you don't get shadows after the final rendering?

Thanks for letting me know. I'll address this in another video specifically for this purpose. Have you watched my other video about the Perspective match: ua-cam.com/video/ck0BHKY2brc/v-deo.html at the of the video I am testing the shadows there with a sphere. Also, don't forget to apply the Shadow catcher material to your room object and add a light source somewhere.
