Oh hey, I played a match against you. You said the hornets were busted then, now they're even better with the shadowflyer nerfs. Shield can still pop a bunch of them if they're not paying attention, and nanoswarm just gives them so much survivability, but hornet dps is kinda low after all the nerfs.
Honestly, I didn't think they were too busted before the 2/13 patch. Afterwards though - the lack of antiair is a problem! IIRC we played after the patch happened
@@BeoMulf It's honestly thanks to nanoswarm that hornets are any good, without it, they're kinda trash ngl. They don't have the damage or durability to stand and fight gaunts and shadowflyers are extremely volatile, they can do 0 damage or kill every hornet instantly and it depends on who is paying attention at the time.
I've lived to the day where there is a meta in the alpha version of a game. Stormgate is nothing more than a highly publicized sh*tshow, because there is nothing else to it. Supposedly great designers and great people who make great games, from another company, who will now make the new groundbreaking game, but it will be like the old ones, but still, it will be something new and unseen, and for no reason at all, everyone is posting the same boring videos of the same thing over and over again. All we see is just boring gameplay of units which lack identity and lack a punch to make them be likeable or wanted. It's boring. That is all that it is.
I guess we need to bring out meta definition. Even hello kitty games have meta as long as there are people trying to improve. Game is good, because it is more accessible to casual players and hard to master at peak lvl 😅
What’s the expectation here?? The lack of variety? Considering there’s currently 2 factions without tier 3? The idea of meta existing inside a 1v1 rts with a rank system? Like yeah your getting exactly what you’re looking at. I wonder if they’ll add more and you’ll get more to look at…
Are Hornets the answer to Infernal early game? How much do you think the shadowflyer nerf actually impacts things?
3 atlas wold have crushed this gaunt blob. but i know its alway easy to tell afterwards
Atlas are also pretty expensive and deeper into the tech tree - and a lot of money was spent on hornets etc (plus TheoRy loves his weavers!)
