For me the biggest issue with the women’s division specifically is Rheas booking, WWE she rarely if ever looks vulnerable in comparison to her comp, she hasn’t been in any memorable storyline before this liv storyline but with the way Liv and Dom are made to look weak in comparison to her doesn’t add intrigue to the story, Raquel joins and you would think that would slow Rhea down but she turns into super women even against a physical threat like Raquel. Rhea is a fantastic talent nobody will debate that but the way they book her in comparison to rest of the division isn’t good television
It's funny cus you say she hasn't been a in memorable storyline before Liv, yet she's one of the most over people on the roster and has a whole wwe playlist about how 2023 was literally the year of Rhea Ripley. Just because you don't like her and don't find her interesting doesn't mean she hasn't done anything memorable because that's ovbiously not true seeing as she is literally already an icon 😂
@@alexiasimmons2583 just because you’re critical of someone doesn’t mean I’m not just as big a fan of rheas as you are, I just think WWE is overly protective of her when they don’t need to be, I think the storylines before Liv could’ve been better, to me they felt like they just needed to add title defenses on resume instead of trying to build her character more, 2023 was her year and I won’t even dispute that but I think it was more so because Rhea is just naturally cool and likable that so many people including myself will gravitate towards that, but it doesn’t change the fact that I think her booking is coming at the expense of the rest of the Raw women’s division

Also if you aren't blind you would see ratings drop. Compare it to any hit TV show. Just because the finale garners more numbers doesn't mean mid season episodes are going to draw 20-30% lower ratings.

Even though HHH also got a flaws in booking but it's still better than Mr. McMahon style of booking and we need to be grateful that HHH is the one who became The Head of Creative Team and The Head of Booker in WWE instead of someone's like Mr. McMahon or Tony Khan

I lived through Vince's product growing up & the later few years were less than great, luckily we have Triple H who is turning out to be a suitable successor it's just the booking could be a little better but I'm all for the change of tone that has been displayed if I were to give my advice to Triple H it's listen to the fan's don't do like Vince did & ignore them just take their criticism as it comes & do your best to improve the following week

It's probably better than earlier 2020 when VM still in control. Imagine they let the black and gold nxt become the third main roster with an invasion angle with Undisputed Era, DIY, and some mainroster guys like finn balor & some other nxt top star that had been underused after they'd been called up turn to nxt side. We could get 3 brands war for years.

Make new male stars...Bronson should win in his feud with Seth...Seth is damn near 40 and he's over
No more long title reigns. It worked for Roman and that's it. Gunther won the title and started wrestling once a month.
Vince is (allegedly) a sex pest and deserves federal prison time, but, stop defining his entire tenure by his last few bad years, but, excusing everything HHH does.
Let’s be a little realistic here. Triple H have only been head of creative for two years. And within those two years we have seen an up and down type of trend. But IT’S WAY BETTER than Vince McMahon put out through the 2010s. Seth Rollins VS Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell 2019 is a prime example. 5 years later. We have gotten Drew McIntyre VS CM Punk at Bad Blood in a Hell in a Cell. Perfect 10/10.

The matches at PLE should being bring back for 7 or 8 matches.The titles like mid cards title and tag team title should been given a chance to shine at PLE.Admit it, mostly time those titles been remembered when it been defense at PLE.So,it should not been forgettable.Bring some others idea on PLE,that one important to.
Absolutely not. The Takeover formula has been working tremendously for the brand. 7-8 matches should only be reserved for Mania and summerslam. There needs to be a difference between A shows and B shows
@@nalday2534 But still they can't always used 5 matches for every normal ple like right now.Lack of potential for any others storylines and championships.6 or 7 for normal ple and 8 or more for like WrestleMania,SummerSlam and others special ple that use a big stadium.5 for only ple that have a stipulations match that it will take long to finished like MITB,Royal Rumble and SSeries.That what I thought and that what I think it should be.Not always has to be the same.
Especially since 3 of those 5 PLE matches always underdeliver (which is why Bad Blood is the only B show PLE that has done well since WM and that show was another 2 match card).
The international PLEs are basically skippable
Another problem is TKO wants some of these big matches on Raw and SD because the tv viewership has nosedived since WM. TKO is going to ruin Triple H's tenure with their price increases and cutting house shows (which the prowrestlers need or else you're getting the botches we get from wrestlers like Jade and Kairi Sane).
5 match PLE’s are more digestible and memorable. 8 matches is too much because there’s gonna be some boring filler matches that the crowd will be silent for

One of the greatest things of Triple H, the booker, is he is very open and always willing to make changes the fans, experts and outlets like you are pointing out the shortcomings and criticising some aspects of the product. And, he will surely fix a lot of these things. Second thing, I agree with your assertion and take on the booking of the women's division. Triple H & team really need to do much much better there.
And, now coming to that thumbnail, in which you shown/painted Cody as "Boring", I just wanna tell you tell you that whenever Cody comes out or appears on big screen from the backstage, you feel the infinite amount of charisma and aura every single time. No matter however dead crowd it might be prior, it erupts as soon as they see Cody. Despite having an absolutely aura-less opponent, if a storyline looks interesting and carries aura, that's all of Cody Rhodes. He's been a helluva Champion!

The one thing that I don't like about WWE right now outside of the PLEs is just that the four current World Title reigns are just not good. They're not fighting champions; they're all cowards (even Cody); and they're basically saying the same promo every single week, even for top stars like Rhea Ripley.

Reminder that Vince's "final" year was when the current WWE market boom started. Triple H inherited a booming market and has seen record low tv viewership every time football returns. And most of the main roster is not over (especially the HHH rehires).

@ogomez53og wwe's market boom started a year before that with Roman Reigns vs John Cena and Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg. This was a record-breaking summerslam and the shows that followed were some of the most profitable at that time. So wwe have been breaking records in live shows since the covid restrictions ended minus cancelled house shows and some recent international shows
House shows had to be cancelled months into HHH's tenure because Roman Reigns was becoming more of a part timer (and now is a special attraction) until Cody returned. Now there are barely any house shows.

Ripley is too overpower
Considering how big of a star Rhea Ripley is, it’s sort of hard for lightning to strike twice and create an even bigger star when Rhea is still cementing herself on the roster. There have definitely been new female stars under triple H, but it isn’t a serious problem if any of them don’t surpass Rhea’s popularity immodestly.
the last ppv vince boomed the women had a combined 5 minutes 43 seconds in 3 matches in the last 10 ppvs combined they had a total of 30 minutes 14 seconds but the best they’ve ever been booked 😭😭😭

WWE booking has never been perfect ever. Even in the 80's and 90's. Triple H brought back millions of lapsed fans since Vince got booted out. I really enjoy the WWE product now, but I do remember Vince made WWE a global brand. I dont condone the crimes Vince has committed or anything, but the guy dominated every other wrestling company and he made alot of people wealthy. I'm glad Triple H is getting his turn as head of creative. I'm watching the 4 big pay per views every year. When Vince was there I would only watch Royal Rumble & Wrestlemania. That went on for 10 years for me. Now I watch all of the big 4. Its really good now.

Definitely need more mid level storylines. More so on smackdown. Raw has a fair few they just don't last long. I got no issue with the title reigns duration. Granted Cody doesn't need to have it for a whole year. But the rest are okay. But they should definitely add more title matches to PLE. The tag titles on all three shows are lacklustered. Judgement day are boring. Bloodline are boring and fraxiom are boring. They don't feud with other tag teams. They all just defend it here and there no backstory. I'm pretty sure war raiders will win the title off judgement day. But we don't care. Damage ctrl will best Bianca Cargill. And DIY will beat bloodline. All with not one promo cut.

Vince literally caved and put Roman Reigns into the midcard after the vocal minority hijacked the shows for years (and the end result was some of the worst attended shows before covid because Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston were never main event draws like Roman Reigns was always).
