Just saw the film today and honestly, I loved every minute of it. They really made the terrorcons feel terrifying especially in the museum. The maximals were just perfection in every way. would've loved to have seen their robot modes a bit clearer/more but I don't mind at all. after my siblings and I went to see it, we went to look for toys of them but was kind of surprised at how limited and how small the figures have become since the bayverse era
Man, if it's been that long since you've looked for the figures, yeah, they really did change haha. An ROTF Deluxe is larger than many ROTB and even SS Voyagers. Even an 07 Voyager is on par with current Leader class figures. The new Legacy Commander class figures are on par with 07, ROTF, and DOTM Leaders for the most part, they really did shrink but raise the price. Sucks but what ya gonna do ya know. The only benefit to Transformers now is the accuracy, over all detail, and articulation, so much better! Transformations, it all depends.
Yeah, the Terrorcons were over 9000 in the beginning until the movie forgets this completely at the end and they are relatively easily overwhelmed, because the plot needed them defeated

I feel like Optimus figures never really need to be more complicated than that. The innovation comes in getting the most out of his overall simple transformation.
I'm curious as to what the Studio Series version of Optimus Primal is gonna be bringin' to the party, considering that it's developed with the Leader class budget for parts count, paint, & engineering. (And probably what they should've done for SS102 RotB Optimus Prime, given that it's like 98% new mold with only the back and some internal chest bits being reused from SS38 TFB (or BBM or wtfever) Optimus Prime.) Otherwise, I'd say that list is pretty spot on.
After watching the movie i can honestly forgive wheeljacks design. considering they are implied to have been on earth for a really long time and its completely in character for wheeljack, who is known for his infatuation of human history and culture, to have altered his design to mimic elements of humanity such as clothing and accessories.
Um, no, Wheeljack is NOT known to be infatuated with human culture, where did you get that from!? Are you mistaken with Jazz, Blaster, kinda Tracks, & others? IMO Pablo is an literal abomination & I REALLY hope that Pablo & Wheeljack are 2 separate characters!! You know what Wheeljack IS actually known for? Being the Autobot mad inventor-type character, NOT being known to be infatuated with human culture NOR as a scientist!

I just wish we had multiple random characters who don’t even show in the movie. Like new molds and all. Those were awesome back then. Like we had a movie seaspray who wasn’t even in the movies. We gotten a stealth jet that has a drone attached to it that becomes pretty cool stuff. Not to mention scout class had such a good chunk of figures

I really hope we get more waves of the mainline stuff, even the gimmicky toys are super fun! I hope I can fix the shortcomings on both Mirage and Bee when I get them, because *conceptually* I think they're better than their Studio Series offerings, specially Bee who integrates the weapons perfectly and Mirage, head aside, looks much more accurate as the mainline deluxe in much slimmer. But yeah, I pretty much agree on everyhing on your ranking.

1:05 duuuuude that takes me back 😫. I remember my neighbor taking me and my brother to Toys R Us and seeing this exact display. I got the deluxe Mudflap figure and a Voyager Starscream.
Sadly when it comes down to Mirage, hasbro really dropped the ball. They advertised this guy so much and he ended up actually being one of the coolest characters. That being said, his only "good" figure in my opinion is the beast alliance. Yes, it does have some back kipple, but in comparison to the mainline and studio series, it's a vast improvement. I think honestly hasbro should scrap the studio series Mirage and redesign it. They redesigned tlk hot rod and he's one of the better deluxe class offerings.
I only have Prime right now (was shocked to find), and have only seen the 3 pack with Nightbird, Wheeljack, and Cheetor once and that's it. Very much enjoy Prime, super cool figure! Just wish his wheels in the back tabbed in in bot mode. I do want Airazor and Wheeljack, and possibly Primal and Cheetor too. Still waiting to see what comes in the next waves for both ROTB and SS, would love to see a ROTB Scourge and Arcee! And really want a super good and accurate (Licensed please!) Nightbird!

Say what you want about Wheeljacks design, I definantly think he is the star of the mainline. He is the most accurate of the mainline bots, especially when factoring in the proportions compared to Prime and Primal. He is well articulated and even as far as deluxes are concerned he does actually have quite a complex transformation, which I always love, especially in the deluxe scale. Only issue I have is the hollow forearms and there could have been a little more paint in some Places

Its a shame the mainline might only be 2 waves ay. SS is great but the mainline toys are just fun to pick up & mess about with, it also leaves the designers to be creative since they don't have to aim for accuracy as much as SS does. I really want to get that Airrazor mainline, but I can't find it anywhere. Honestly, I haven't seen any deluxes outside of the three pack of Cheetor, Nightbird, and Wheeljack. Distribution is messed up right now.
I saw the movie and it was good the sound track was amazing. The movie was put together so will. I really enjoyed it. Also here is a little Easter egg. Scorge is nimasis pime.
While it's not accurate to the movie, I love the colour on the Maximals in the main line. They're just a lot more striking, and I'm really tempted to get them. The Autobots are... whatever, but they really did the Maximals well, outside of the accuracy department.
The studio series Mirage that they showed I have a feeling that it’s a prototype, cause we still don’t have it yet, and the final figure is probably gonna look like the movie
Saw movie yesterday, and it was awesome. Now im happy with me wfc and legacy figures, but if i were to collect the rotb figures, then im going with the studio series version since most of them are screen accurate or have a complex transformation. I do wish arcee was a deluxe

I like the spot where you put everyone you had a good reasons to put them there and I liked it so good job but Nightbird I just love her vehicle mode I was always a fan of the GTR line of cars to lead to some of the best cars out there in all of history so I really do want to get two of her one to repaint into much more accurate movie colors and want to color it in the standard Wangan blue color change the color of blue is the iconic much is that but 3-D print some parts to make it look a bit more better must be the weapons and everything else make the wheels more better spoiler more better everything else pretty much This was great Great job.

I was sold on Wheeljack when I saw his design... After getting him in hand was a delight! Sweet conversion, impressive articulation and suspenders!

Something I've noticed about the SS Mirage is that it looks more like G1 Jazz than RotB Mirage. Not sure if anyone else has caught on to that detail.

I really want to get that Airrazor mainline, but I can't find it anywhere. Honestly, I haven't seen any deluxes outside of the three pack of Cheetor, Nightbird, and Wheeljack. Distribution is messed up right now.

I saw the movie and it was good the sound track was amazing. The movie was put together so will. I really enjoyed it. Also here is a little Easter egg. Scorge is nimasis pime.
While it's not accurate to the movie, I love the colour on the Maximals in the main line. They're just a lot more striking, and I'm really tempted to get them. The Autobots are... whatever, but they really did the Maximals well, outside of the accuracy department.
I haven't had any luck finding the main line figures or studio series figures from rise of the beasts. I can only find the kid gimmick toys.
The studio series Mirage that they showed I have a feeling that it’s a prototype, cause we still don’t have it yet, and the final figure is probably gonna look like the movie

Saw movie yesterday, and it was awesome. Now im happy with me wfc and legacy figures, but if i were to collect the rotb figures, then im going with the studio series version since most of them are screen accurate or have a complex transformation. I do wish arcee was a deluxe
Also even though I've heard complaints, I rather go with studio series mirage over the main line.

I like the spot where you put everyone you had a good reasons to put them there and I liked it so good job but Nightbird I just love her vehicle mode I was always a fan of the GTR line of cars to lead to some of the best cars out there in all of history so I really do want to get two of her one to repaint into much more accurate movie colors and want to color it in the standard Wangan blue color change the color of blue is the iconic much is that but 3-D print some parts to make it look a bit more better must be the weapons and everything else make the wheels more better spoiler more better everything else pretty much This was great Great job.
