Salt Pot Overview

Peter gives an overview of the high and low temp salt pots we use for heat-treating swords and knives. He also talks about safety "dos-and-don'ts" you should keep in mind while using these tools (learn from our mistakes!)

Salts are scary but I was still thinking about building a small set up with a ribbon burner I have and a PID. This was very informative. Thank you. I still might just hold off for a bit.

Might want to look at using 316 stainless as it’s designed to handle exposure to salt bunch better then 303/304.

Hey my friend great vid. Just saw it the other other day. I’m gathering comments together for a high and low temperature sword treat tanks. Lov’n your generosity with intel. We do the same. Could you send me in the direction of what salts you are using. Thanks
