The hummus seller was really keen on practicing his english.
Seeing Shushu and Ayi always warms my heart! Reminds me of the people who have become my family away from home in China ❤️
egg and tomatoes is also a dish here in italy. it's fun to see that all over the world people in the end always eat the same things
Wow, Amy, you have always surprised me with so much knowledge about China. The reason the Chinese built great channel to transport goods from South of China to Beijing is really fascinating. Not only do I learn about Chinese cuisine, I also learn some interesting history about China. Thanks you!
Amy speaks chinese to hummus guy but he's also gonna practice his english when opportunity presents
Interesting Fact: Almost half of Beijing's steamed buns are occupied by a Shandong businessman. He used to be a very poor man, and through hard work, he became a steamed bun tycoon. My wife told me this because she is from the same hometown as this steamed bun tycoon. (As a southerner, I hardly ate steamed buns and noodles until I was 16 and went to college, and started eating noodles after I went to Beijing to study. After marrying a girl from Shandong as my wife, I now basically eat more than half of my staple food as steamed buns and noodles. (However, if I don't eat rice for several days in a row, I will crave it)
Her neighbors are so sweet. Good people.
I want to see your neighbors react to non-Chinese food!
As a person born and live in Beijing for 27 years, I even don’t know the history of Wanning bridge!!! Really appreciate your introduction!❤️
I think we need amy cooking class, I want to taste the eggplant dish 🤤
I really enjoyed the little history lesson about the bridge, very interesting! And the view was wonderful 🥰 Keep up the good work, Blondie!
🎵Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours. With a little understanding you could find the perfect plan.
Tried biang biang noodles and roujamo in Sydney China Town yesterday as you suggested them in a previous video. Loved it!! Thanks for your videos :)
What a blessing to expose yourself to such lovely neighbors, lucky u. Stay safe and healthy there in Beijing. ❤️
You make an ordinary day seem anything but ordinary. I love the idea of you trying different snacks for your picnic and parking yourself on a bench and enjoying these little treasures. Your neighbors are lovely and you are a warm and friendly hostess. Another video that left me smiling. Thank you❤️
I know I’m late but your neighbours are literally so kind!!
Amy , your neighbors are very kind and supportive.
Hummus with the "mantou" was a perfect match. Good job!
Over the years of tasting and eating just about any food has given you an edge in creating dishes right out of nowhere.
