She's a 9 week old chocolate labradoodle, who doesn't quite have a name, but is fitting in nicely with our family already! For the first few nights, it's better to put her crate close to where you sleep so that she does not get anxious in a new environment (and you'll feel better too haha). This is just a general tip for all new puppies you bring home. It'll help build trust and let them quickly adapt to their new home :D
We decided to put Bailey where we wanted her to end up sleeping and she did great! What works for some dogs may not work for others - I know some of her litter mates cried through the night for weeks, but Bailey adjusted right away.

I NEEDED this cuteness in my day! Bahah at her first time on the leash. I'm dyyyying over sleepy Bailey! Her little prance when you first brought her into the house. Oh man. Cuteness overload! She didn't seem too overwhelmed by all the new experiences, either. She was pretty happy to be with you guys immediately! Awww... that first night is so hard.
She has been so awesome! We’ve been go go go since we got her and she’s totally rolled with it all! We feel so lucky!

She is absolutely adorable. We have a mini schnauzer who just turned 1 a few weeks ago. Watching this reminded of when we brought him home. Have fun with your fur-baby.

I watched this when I got my first dog and now I’m getting another one and watching this again!!!!
My baby labradoodle is almost 2...time has gone so quickly but we fall more in love with her every day. She wants nothing more than to love and be loved. I've had Golden Retrievers, a Yellow Lab, and a couple rescue pups and all were wonderful dogs with great personalities but Molly has been the best dog ever. She follows me everywhere and whenever I come home whether I'm gone for 40 minutes or 4 hours, she goes crazy as if I've been away from her for days. We plan on getting a sister for our Molly and seeing this video has me looking forward to another pup. I think it will be good for her so she's never alone, she also gets along well with other dogs. Love watching these puppy videos!
aw she's your little shadow! Bailey is the same way, just loves being with people and knowing what they're doing! Eventually we'd love to get her a sister as well.

Much better than a baby! It is still illegal - here in the UK - to put your baby in a cage and go to the Cinema for 3 hours: I say "political correctness gone mad...." But the law is the law.

I found myself getting so excited while you were driving to go get your puppy. what a sweet pup! I remember bringing my dog home the very first day... what a great day! her name is isabella and she'll be 1 year old now on Jan 12, 2019! we started out with her in the cage but quickly realized that it's better just to have her sleep with us. since that day... no problems whatsoever. anyway - enjoy your new baby, she's beautiful!
Baileys almost 7 months but we’ve continued to use the crate for her sleeping at night. I’m sure she’d do alright outside of the cage too though.

I got one a year ago and got a golden labradoodle 2 months ago the golden one is too soft the chocolate labradoodle is very nice but act likes it's a human when sitting down on a couch

We are picking up two white labradoodle pups-they are brothers-on June 18th. Their names are Calvin and Hobbes. Excited, but this will be new territory to have 8 week old pups and having two dogs.

At best friend's house (50 miles away, I visited for the weekend), there was a litter of labradoodle puppies and I named one nd got attached. I had to leave today and she looked at me when I went like "Where are you going" nd she hadn't found a home yet. Idk what's going to happen to her 😭

Was this a flat hair labradoodle or did more curls come on?
Her hair got a bit more curly over time. When it air dries some spots on her are very tight curls but most of her is wavy.

Do u know the breeder of where u got the puppy? My family is thinking of getting a dog and like I don’t know which Breeder is credible and which breeders are frauds. Your puppy looks very healthy so I just wanted to know the breeder.

Your supposed to put the crate in your bedroom for the first few weeks..
Everyone does things differently. We started Bailey out where we wanted her to end up sleeping and she had no issues adjusting. What works for one dog may not work for another.
I really want a labradoodle!!! But I don’t know if the grooming will be too much of a hassle
They definitely require a lot of grooming, some more than others depending on their coat type. We recommend researching the coat types and make sure the dog you pick has the coat you're willing/able to work with. They're all so darn cute!
Our friends are rlly cool kangaroo baby helpers that have like 1000 dogs and they do it for our labradoodles

Labradoodles are reaaaaaaally expensive. My cousin got one for 4,000$ a week ago, but we’re from Sweden lol so idk how it is worldwide.

Oh wow, we got ours for 800 from Minnesota. And he is so precious. We are planning to get another. Ours is 50% poodle and 50% lab
Yes indeed. I’ve seen them around 3000kup to 5000k. Once I saw two doodles for almost 8000k. It’s unbelievable that people are getting them at that price. On the other hand, I’ve seen them cheaper but don’t trust the breeders. Like their puppies don’t look like real doodles.

tough call they're both so adorable! I think the biggest thing is finding the SIZE that you want since they both can range from super tiny to well over 150 pounds! That was one of the biggest factors in picking our pup!

Well unless they wanted it to run around and piss all over their house, I think not having water during the night was the right call. Crate training is also some thing to train you puppy on, if you did your research of course.

Why put her in a locked cage all alone like that?
That's where she sleeps! It gives her a quiet space of her own and makes sure we don't have any messes in the house when we aren't able to watch her.
You really shouldn’t be doing that much exercising with such a young labradoodle. Since poodles and Labrador retrievers are both prone to hip dysplasia you should only being walking your puppy gently for the first 1 1/2 years.. otherwise they can develop hip dysplasia! Even though they might not be born with it 🥺 Also don’t let your little guy run up stairs :)
Thanks for your concern, not to worry she took short walks for awhile and didn't tackle the stairs until she was much more stable.
