@@christianpower645 I'm a Husker, not a Ryan Day or OSU fan. But I find it hilarious how the "fans" wanted him fired for losing to Michigan again and referred to him as a fraud. Then he goes out and helps the team bring home the trophy. Nebraska fans do the same thing.

Baalke is the type of manager to throw other people under the bus in order to solidify their own position. This should feel familiar to anyone who has interacted with middle management at their job.
As a San Francisco 49ers supporter, I could not stop laughing especially since most of the head coaching candidates did not want to go to the Jacksonville Jaguars due to Trent Baalke and not want to working with him and considering what Trent Baalke did to Jim Harbaugh which Harbaugh was coaching the 49ers, I'm not at all surprised. The way Baalke treated Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers was absolutely disgusting and a fake General Manager such as Baalke should be in charge of running a sports team in King's Lynn within Norfolk which of course is in the United Kingdom. Oh my, this is the funniest thing I have seen.
Well apparently they got the message that this round of coaches want their own GMs that they know they can work with instead of “of course it would work” to get the job.
I was listening to the Ben Johnson presser and one of the questions asked to him was why Chicago & part of his answer was the people and the structure put in place. Now it might just be a coincidence but about an hour later & after another coach withdraws his name he’s fired. 🤔
@@jonathannaughton8554 Baalke made the mistake of hiring Urban tho. 💀 thats a fireable offense alone. Not to mention him getting ran out of San Francisco
It blows my mind why anyone would hire Baalke after his stint with the 49s. He clearly has an ego and a power issue. No one wants to work with a guy like that. Can he draft well? No better than your average GM. He’s all downside.
I guess the "light bulb" finally turned on for Shad Khan. Possible HC candidates are hesitant to work with Baalke. Why was Trent not fired with Doug Peterson? Why not clean house and start a fresh rebuild?
Coen & ben Johnson passing on the jags tells you they had no interest in working with him . Need a gm & hc who are on the same page hopefully they can fix Lawrence for a alleged generational qb prospect he's sure been mid
49ers fans tried to warn Jags fans from day 1. This was painful to watch and see how long of a leash Khan gave him. Just a total disaster of a GM with red flag after red flag
Bruh, Ben Johnson was not going to go to the Jags for any reason. He didn’t in-person interview with the Bears either. But the Bears have Cakeb Williams and Jax has a clueless owner and a doofus son.
Jags waiting until now instead of when they fired the hc is weird maybe they realized most hc candidates that are good rather not deal with one of the worst gms in the nfl surprised he lasted this long with how bag jags have been and multiple different coaches failing
Woody Johnson is first, hands down. The owner forever known for chasing Bill Belichick away to NE. And literally knows ZERO about football. Just a clueless owner from a pharmaceutical company. Jerry Jones second. Just because he at least knows football. He might be the ultimate meddler, but at least knows the games and puts teams together to win 12 games and the division now and then.
we're not trying to fix Fabio anymore he needs to be in Los Angelo's rams somewhere we not trying to just make the playoff all these years we need a superbowl one more year two tops if he is still turning the ball over get him out of here. Lord where is Shaun Payton.
Freakin finally... everyone was irate that Doug was let go and Baalke stayed, why keep remnants of a failed regime around to corrupt the new era? Doug should not have been the fall guy he is a good coach with some serious loyalty to some questionable coordinators (Press Taylor).
Dysfunctional organizations do dysfunctional things, this decision should’ve been done a month ago (would have increased their likelihood at landing Ben Johnson) y’all should’ve committed to them for at least another year. Im happy im a Bears fan 😂🐻⬇️
Oh so now Shad Kahn Fired Trent Baalke. You should have fired him after the whole Urban Myer mess. Good Luck trying to find a Head coach and a GM that wants to work for your organization. What a Joke!
My advice to the Jacksonville Jaguars unless you wanna Wait 108 years to win a Superbowl Wake Up and Hire Ryan Day of the Ohio State Buckeyes before it's too late don't believe me he lead my Buckeyes to the National Championship
TBH as a Jags fan here , " Thank God, Finally " 👏🙏. Now we just need to find a better New HC & GM.
But you still have shabby ownership. I feel for you guys. I'm a Panther fan and know how it feels.

No our top candidate gone to the bears AND we lost our second option... But mad respect for getting Ben Johnson

I've been saying since the regular season ended that Trent Baalke needed to be fired. I'm glad the Jaguars finally made this move, he needed to go.
Needed to go 3 years ago. Better late than never
I said this when he was fired from SF. Every SF fan knows how bad Baalke sucks as a GM.🤣
Here's the theory, no coaching candidate liked Baalke so why would they want to put their coaching career in Baalke's hands
Baalke is the type of manager to throw other people under the bus in order to solidify their own position. This should feel familiar to anyone who has interacted with middle management at their job.
The 49ers can vouch for that.
Honestly I wouldn’t even call this a theory at this point
Man we needed this.. thank you Jesus!!

This owner is such a lair and loser. Khan is probably the third worst owner in pro football

What took them so long? Are they now going after Joe Douglass?

Lmfao welp that failed terribly
Using the terms "alpha guy" and "leader of men" should be automatically disqualifying.
To be honest, Trent Baakle made a lot of good picks. The coaches needed to be better.
What is the difference. Take them all out of here

Should have fired him before the coaching cycle started.

Seeing that the Jags are building a new $1.4 billion stadium and signed a new 30 year lease, not before 2055.
