Your molds are 100X better than the mass-produced ones, and *much* more beautifully designed! 💕😊 Nearly half my commercial molds have imperfections that leave actual marks on my resin, or the walls are so floppy that the piece is misshapen. Such a big disappointment! I love this new shaker mold - I love all your molds. 💕😍 Love the ocean-themed coaster! ❤

I think you have been making molds for so long now you definitely are a professional and your moulds are absolutely amazing so sorry haven't been able to buy any of yours because the shipping to Ireland is way out of my league any slight imperfection and mean slight (in your opinion) make no difference because they are all stunning plus the shaker coaster is gorgeous great tutorial Julie love it 👍👍👍

The blue tint was the perfect amount of colouring, as it ended up looking like glass! Really lovely coaster, I'm very much a glitter/sparkle person, so I really enjoy the projects that you do which have lots of those things in them :D Thanks for making this and sharing it with us!
I am fascinated by this, it's brilliant. I was wondering (at the halfway point of the video) if it would be possible to do 2 layers of movement for this, so that there can be a layer of movable sand below the ocean layer ? Loving your work and your (is it Melbourne ?) accent BTW :) xx

Hi Julie, could you make a shaker mold with the live edge that’s a little deeper? I can’t get very many things in the he current one. Also, can you make it just a little bigger so it takes a 4 inch clear disc for the top? Those are easy to find to buy here in the US. 3.8 inches is an odd size. And I can’t afford to buy them from Australia all the time :(
Hhhmmm... Im not too sure how much truth there is to this, but, well, i heard it a while back and have been doing it ever since! I saw that when doing shakers, NEVER rely on just a UV resin to seal it. You should ALWAYS cover the entire top in 2 part resin to make sure THIS resin completely covers over the UV resin. Apparently, UV resin does not adhere well to hardened resin, and is likely to come loose... Just FYI... 😉👍

@debbiecarver4997 I'm in the US, too. The shipping will likely be around $40-ish for a mold weighing up to 500 grams, or something like that. Maybe less if the mold isn't too heavy? The cost is set by the AUS gov't. Maybe that's a good thing it's so high...I've run out of room to store more molds! If it were cheaper shipping, we'd be neck deep in her molds! 😅
Julie, I want to to place a large order with you but I’m from the US. The order comes to a little over $400 US (627 AU) but the shipping is coming up a crazy amount (153 AU). I don’t know if there is another way to do this because I think it isn’t combining shipping.
My molds are very heavy so when you buy more the weight goes up and so does shipping but each extra item will only add an extra $8 with combined shipping
I would like to see that in like a liquid. Not just like a real solid. I mean, not AA solidar liquid, more of AA thicker liquid where it moves a little different than like in just water. I don't know. I think you probably know what I'm talking about.

If you're going to make a memorial shaker I suggest putting a picture in the base and using a little less filler

You can permanently get rid of the static inside your shaker coasters or on the items inside by rubbing them with a dryer sheet before sealing.
