You and the "Messy Minimalist" are the only youtubers I am actively following and looking forward the new videos. You two are absolutely real and I love that! You look amazing here, hope there will be more Q&A vids... Or other couse I love to listen to you, sometimes even only as a background noise, It's calming for me lol. Wish you all the best. 🌷
Thank you! Messy Minimalist has great content! I’m flattered to be compared. 😊 Perhaps I could make this a monthly thing? I found this experience enlightening and pretty positive.
I just love your videos. And don’t apologize for missing your grandpa, my grandma passed away almost 20 years ago and I still get teary-eyed talking about her. Just goes to show how amazing they were to evoke such emotion from us. 💜
Think I have seen most of your videos and what I realised especially with this one: you are looking so much better now and I think you can really see that you are feeling more comfortable in your body (at least that´s the vibe I´m getting^^). Thx for doing all these videos :)
I definitely use decluttering as a scapegoat for problems in my life I'm not ready to face. When my anxiety flares up, I blame my stuff. But I'm also terrified of getting rid of something and regretting it. I'm scared of change and scared that deep down, I don't know myself. So I just shuffle things around and fret until I'm exhausted. Sigh. I know I need to go back to therapy, but it's expensive and takes so much work. Anyway, all this is to say that I vibe with you so much and I'm so glad I get to experience minimalism vicariously with you when I can't manage it myself.
I feel ya, bud. Im glad you’re able to recognize when it’s happening and use a surrogate to experience it. Also vibing with you on therapy. Oh vey... what a mess. You also American?
@@TheBadMinimalist Yep, and I've got otherwise good health insurance but it doesnt cover mental health services until I meet my deductible. I hope the system changes someday. Thankfully I have good friends to talk with when things are rough.
Always really love watching your videos! You look really nice in that navy colour. Id love some more videos on your art and craft projects or areas. I love drawing in coloured pencils and black pens 😊
Sure thing! I have a diy coming up pertaining to art supplies and up cycling. I’m really excited about it, tbh. I also post a lot of my art on my personal Instagram account if you’d like to poke around. @avantbasic
Just discovered your channel, and you’re really helping me out during this quarantine situation. Sorry for the loss of your farfar. Are you of Scandinavian descent? I’m from Norway, and every time I hear something that resembles Norwegian I have to know:-) hope you’re surviving the quarantine the best you can!
Yep! My Far Far was half Swedish, so I’m somewhat Scandi, lol. I’m happy to hear that this content is helping you during this highly stressful time! I’m doing ok. Still working, which is stressful because I’m a service worker, but doing alright. How about yourself?
Yey thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Also great effort on pronouncing my name (nobody can 😂) phonetically it’s ‘crow-zee-yer’. Love your channel, glad your trying to be kind to yourself at the mo with the self care etc. Ps. Love the advice on the green lifestyle/sustainability/thrifting.
Thanks for correcting me! People rarely get mine right, too. 😅 Thanks for the feedback! I’ve been a little anxious about the copious sustainability stuff coming up in vids, so I’m glad it’s being received well. :)
You might want to look into the cost benefit of zip car (or similar) vs car ownership. we like in NYC and don't have a car/ use it once a month. Even the day rate is better than a car rental. And they handle all the insurance/ gas/ tolls.
I wish I had that option where I’m at. The city I’m in is small, so we only have the big rental companies that charge an arm and a leg. 🙃 It’s such an amazing option though!
meganverne Basically it is the name given to them at birth. They no longer go by that name and therefore the old name is dead to them. This is a common term with trans and non binary people (I have never heard it used outside of the LGBTQ community but perhaps it's always used for a name change. I am not sure).
Ooh! I love community based education! Excellent question, since that phrase isn’t as common as it should be. In my case, Tee C hit it right on the head. Thanks, Finnalin for your amendment!

Thanks! And I had no idea that was coming though via camera, lol. I’ve been getting stronger lately and it’s boosting my confidence.
YAY! So glad you’re back (again!)
Thank You for being so Open & Honest with everyone’s questions 🙂
Could you please film a “morning routine”? it would be interesting! 🌼🌼
I’m gonna give it a few weeks to see what sticks and what doesn’t because I really don’t want to produce something disingenuous.

Watching your content is so grounding. I really look forward to every new video you post. Glad to hear you're evolving and reflecting
Thank you! It’s honestly the hardest part of my minimalism journey
Your skin looks rlly bright and clear! Always love ur videos and listening to what u have to say :)
Thank you! It’s still recovering from a poorly SPF’d Portland Pride, so bless you. And I’m glad you find value in this! I appreciate you!
Agreed with "even if you lost all your things; you'd still have your person!"
All those funny faces at the end really brightened my day. Thank you!
Lol. Thank you! I’m glad I kept them in the cut. 😂
Thanks for answering my question. I'm glad that you're all right. Take care of yourself!
Thank you for asking and for your concern. 💕
"but that's mostly because I have no idea what I'm doing" same. mood.
It’s honestly more exciting that way
I just love this video. You're so down to earth and it felt like I was having a chat with a friend 😊
Thank you! I try my best :)

😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 The alarm vogue part! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What name are you going by now? Also reach eurasia by going through alaska and maybe not die
Maybe not dying while puddle jumping to Asia would be ideal.
And Artie.
The Bad Minimalist thats such a nice name! Nice to meet you
Hahaha omg the alarm faces I thought only I did that!!!

@@TheBadMinimalist Ugh too bad. I hope they expand because it really is a great option for those of us who aren't car-use heavy.
Or for those who can’t shoulder the financial weight of ownership... like, damn, son. Cars are getting crazy expensive. 😵
@@TheBadMinimalist I feel you- parking alone is $300 a month near me!
Jeeeeezussss.
Thanks a ton for answering my question! Arroz con pollo?! Where's your mom from? Hugs from Costa Rica!
My mom grew up in San Diego California, but we’re white as hell, hence the butchered chicken & rice
And thank YOU for asking. :) Hugs from the USA
@@TheBadMinimalist you rock, Arty!
why do you have a dead name? what does that mean?

@@TC-zq3nj It can also be used by non LGBTQ people, I knew a girl who changed her whole name when she was adopted as a tween.
