I never tire of watching this. My parents were professional dancers many, many years ago. Watching this, I can't help but picture them in their hey day. Brilliant doesn't even begin to describe the talents of all these couples. My favorite couple is the one in the forefront, though. Pure magic.

I literally didn't even notice the other couples until the cartwheel and then I went right back to watching Nils and Bianca (brown jacket and red dress). Of course they won!
I was s o glued to the screen watching this, all my memories came flooding back. In the end I had tears rolling down my face while I was smiling.....so full of memories. Just wonderful to see young boys and girls still dancing in Rock n Roll style too. Awesome, just awesome!!!

Not knowing if these were the finalists and who won, I found the couple with the red dress and the brown coat with tie to be by far the best natural swing dancers. None of the others came close to being as good but I did like the couple with the blue dress.

One thing I love about swing is that there is no seduction of partners involved, unlike latin dances that are all about courtship and seduction. Here it is fun pure and simple. The ladies do almost the same steps as the men, and there is no quest for elegance. In fact, the sillier a figure looks, the better.
