I don't want to sound preachy, but I'm an esthetician and I strongly suggest you switch some of these products to more skin friendly formulations. Like a Mandelic Acid Toner that does not have alcohol or witch hazel. Mandelic Acid is actually one of the most gentle acids. Safe enough to use everyday, even 2x a day, in the correct formulation. So if you've noticed your's can "ruin your skin", you definitely should not continue to use it. -Try WISHTREND Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water. It has the same percentage of mandelic acid as MUAC's. -Instead of Murad Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel, try Alpha Skincare Dual Action Skin Lightener. It has hydroquinone & glycolic acid as well, minus the alcohol & is MUCH more affordable. -Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil is a really good, affordable, alcohol & fragrance free alternative to the Tatcha Cleansing Oil. It has skin friendly ingredients & also washes away cleanly. -Sulfur has more negatives than positives for skin and should only be used as a last resort, if other ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid & salicylic acid haven't worked for you. -Everyone needs a minimum of SPF 30 (maximum of 50, unless you're at the beach, an amusement park, etc). So the Murad one doesn't cut it. Paula's Choice Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 & Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Face Lotion have great formulations that actually control oil, unlike the Differin SPF... I hope this helps you or anyone who happens to read this.

Ky Denise no I’m so sorry I do not. I eyeball it and use half and half. At first it may seem like it won’t mix but if you just keep stirring it eventually will. And yes I use pure aloe vera gel that you can use for sunburns. I put it on in the morning when I wake up and at night before I go to bed. I hope this helps!
Ky Denise try the ponds cream with the pink top. You're supposed to use it twice a day and honestly it's been 2 weeks and scars I've had for years are disappearing. Also my ever present shadow Stache is lightening up and evening it with the rest of my skin. Try the travel size and see if you like it. Be sure to wear sunblock with anything to combat scars.
Differin has definitely changed my skin y’all. I still break out a lot actually but Raye said she has been using it for years and I’ve only been using it for 6 months. I have had pretty severe and annoying dry patches but yall for the price and the results it’s worth it. She’s right you just have to be patient you might not see result in the first month or few months but so far my skin is BETTER than before and my breakouts go by way faster and heal way faster it’s def a slow progress but it’s still PROGRESS and the results will be longer lasting. I highly recommend

I’m so happy that you found a routine that works for you!!! I hope that some of your makeup offers SPF because Differin gel promotes photo damage (sun sensitivity). Even a powder SPF 20 is better than no sunscreen at all! 😘
You might have to use it longer than that. A lot of people experience a purge. My chin broke out way worse after using it for 2 months but I stuck with it and now I'm hardly getting pimples and still use it.
Philomath Yes I did use those, along with lavender oil. I still use them, but the only thing that really works for me is accutane. I've been trying to find something natural that delivers the same results with no luck.
SEANA SPARKLE I used it throughout my high school yrs. My doctor would prescribe differin or cutacnyl with antibiotics. My acne kept getting worse, maybe it was the antibiotics that caused. At that point I stop going to the doctor and tried home remedies. That did not help either. I went to a derm, and he put me back differin and of course more antibiotics for 6 months. My skin became very sensitive and irritated he suggested accutane, and it's the only thing that helped. And I had to adjust my diet also; I'm allergic/ sensitive to certain food.

I love the boscia cleanser. I just got a bottle for my birthday for $10 from Sephora. The warming really throws me off when I use it, but it’s nice. I was using PTR Irish Moore Mud cleanser before that. I also love using jojoba oil. I use Cliganics brand. It’s cruelty free, organic, 100% jojoba oil and $10 for a big bottle. It’s great. Also, where have you been girl? I miss your videos. Also, I got a small three pack trial size bundle of Origins masks. I love the balancing mask (even though it smells awful) and the charcoal mask from them. I also love PTR water drench moisturizer. I’m an oily faced lady too and I noticed using that moisturizer it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy and I feel like my skin soaks it in quick. The Hungarian thermal water one is ok too but I love the water drench. It’s the only moisturizer I’ve ever used up completely and bought a second bottle. Miss your videos. I’m going to try some of the products you recommended, I’ve been struggling with acne for years and it’s gotten to the point where I don’t want to go out because of embarrassment. It sucks that I take care of my skin and do face masks, have used so many products over the years and they work for a few days and start to clear up my face but then my face starts to break out more. Along with the acne I have acne scars which makes my appearance look as if I have more acne than I actually do😓😭

For my ladies out there that have freckles, be careful using that Murad serum because it will lighten freckles along with your discoloration and scars. When I used it, I will either spot treat specific areas or avoid the center of my face to avoid fading my freckles there.
Estheticians always think I want my freckles gone, but I love them and miss them... They've faded a lot over the years due to acne spot fading products and diligent SPF use 😩

I’m going to try some of the products you recommended, I’ve been struggling with acne for years and it’s gotten to the point where I don’t want to go out because of embarrassment. It sucks that I take care of my skin and do face masks, have used so many products over the years and they work for a few days and start to clear up my face but then my face starts to break out more. Along with the acne I have acne scars which makes my appearance look as if I have more acne than I actually do😓😭

For my ladies out there that have freckles, be careful using that Murad serum because it will lighten freckles along with your discoloration and scars. When I used it, I will either spot treat specific areas or avoid the center of my face to avoid fading my freckles there.

Raye, listen because of you I decided to buy differin gel. I been using differin gel for about a month n half now. And so far so good. No major breakouts. Now I have to treat the dark spots. I will add the murad spot lightening gel. Thanks for the recommendation! 💕

Ive been using Differin since November and its amazing!!! Leaves my skin schmooth and glowy. You gotta be consistent, theres an initial breakout but after 2 weeks its smooth clear skin. I use it more for anti aging.
