I like the story of Serbia's 2024 entry. Her song was viral worldwide last year, and then the following year she got to represent her country at Eurovision with a song about Serbian national flower. Beautiful. She was doing rap and no one even thought about her as potential Eurovision representative until last year.
This is in my opinion one of the best entries this year!! We will remembering this song for a long time. It is a musical and emotional masterpiece!! Well done Serbia🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸❤️
Gal im here 4 days later im from Serbia and ty for liking the song AND FINALLY CAN TALK W SOMEONE ABOUT EUROVISION, AND YOUR LIKE SO GOOD AT SPEEKING SERBIAN🎉🎉😊
Ramonda represents Serbs and the song is metaphore for Serbian sufering in WW1 or The Great War. The song style is Serbian griefing song like lullaby but with sad meaning so that mothers can put the baby to sleap while grieving for lost man, brothers sons.
From what i saw people mostly have it in their top 10. Its sooo different from anything we have in this year full of crazy and up beat song. The staging, the vocals, the message its all perfect and perfectly executed. Serbia top 10 this year easly 🇷🇸💜🌸
HI I AM FROM SERBIA AND RAMONDA IS A FLOWER THAT ONLY LIVES ON KOPAONIK (SERIBA ) AND IT CAN GO UP TO 1 YEAR WHITOUT WATER BUT IF YOU GIVE IT WATER IT IS BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS WHAT THE SONG IS ABOUT !!!!!!!!!!
Yes, Teya wants to made on stage in Malme even more fantastic scenography with thunders and all what she have the best in video too ! Imagine how can be Amazing and beautiful on big stage in Malmo with all their technique! !
She said that she want her staying and performance be like in video, and she want whreal rain in stage, I believe the stage is gonna be epic, because she have great team and RTS will suport that with money.
🇷🇸 I'm glad you understand our song about Ramonda because it's a resurrection flower in the true sense - it hibernates and is born again when it rains 🇷🇸 like Serbia !!! I wish everyone new a positive spiritual resurrection and peace throughout Europe and the world like Ramoda !!! Welcome in 🇷🇸 Serbia next year on Eurovision song contest !
Teya (she is Berklee graduated scenographist too) wants to made on stage in Malme even more fantastic scenography with thunders and all what she have the best in video too ! Imagine how can be Amazing and beautiful - out of this World i think on Big Stage in Malmo with all their technique! ! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Here are the lyrics in English. Hopefully, I managed to make the lyrics rhyme but to stay faithfull to the original. RAMONDA 🌸 " There's no, there's no peace for me Restless, sleepless with no dreams Night forbids the dawn to come Hardest for the lonesome Underwater, silent and bound I scream but i can't make a sound Above the hills there is a light I see no end in sight Only wounded can walk this path There's no guide to take me far Into brightnes of the Morning star World in flames Flowers burned away Where've they gone from us? Lilac Ramondas Lilac Ramonda x8 There's no guide to take on me The stars are gone, they fell asleep Even prayers wouldn't console me Where've they gone from us? Lilac Radmondas Lilac Ramonda x8 From the ashes rising high... Just one Lilac Ramonda. " 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 All the best from Serbia and thanks for your support for our Teya Dora. 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
It just hit me that we really don't have, like, any ballads this year. 😅 maybe Latvia. But that's it. I guess people are getting what they've been wanting.
Ramonda is one of the oldest flowers on earth, a flower that can survive harsh conditions on earth, also a flower that can rise with the help of a single drop of water, there is still a lot to write, for Serbs Ramonda is a sacred flower because it is connected with our history and culture
Here is the text in English, but I will give you also some insight, so that you can understand. The part of feeling and sensation will be lost In translation, but it should work "I don't have, I don't have, I don't have I have no peace, no sleep Night don't let the day to come It is difficult for the one who is alone Everything is quiet like under water I scream but it is not heard Behind the mountains, a white glow I don't see the end in sight This is the way for the wounded And there is no one to guide me Towards the light of Danica star (Northern star) Everything burns, everything burns; Every flower, every flower Where did the Lila Ramondas go? And there is no one to guide me Because the stars are all asleep Not even prayers help Where did the Lila Ramondas go? ...... It rises from the ashes One lilac ramonda" During WWI, the complete Serbian army was forced to retreat from Serbia, via Albania to Greece, in what was one of the most horrific withdraw in known history, where many died from hunger, illnes and attacks ftom the Albanian gangs. Later. From the coast of Albania, allied ships were transported them to Greece. Some ships were attacked by Germans and a lot of Serbian solders died under the watter. In the Greek island Corfu, Serbian army recovered, but still thousands of them died from exhaustion and illnes. When there were no more empty land to bury the dead on Corfu, they were buried in the sea, which is known in Greece and Serbia as the Blue tomb When recovered, Serbian army broke Thessaloniki front line, moving very fast thus leaving allied troops far, far behind while destroying Germans and liberating Serbia. In WWI, Serbia lost almost 1/3 of its population, and 60% of male population Ramonda Serbica and Natalia Ramonda are the flower of lilac (purple) color, that can dry out completely when conditions are bad, and it can resurrect again after a long time with just a few drops of a watter. It is also called the Phoenix flower So I hope that I can help you understand how heavy this song is, but still full of hope The terrible situation in which the Serbs were, but even though it seems that the lilac Ramonda have disappeared (for Serbs, that flower is a symbol of faith in liberation), still one rises from the ashes (faith in the beginning of liberation). On Serbia's liberation day, people are wearing the Ramonda symbol on their dresses. In the official music video for this song, at the very beginning there is a message in English: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it" or in the translation "And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it" which is the text from the Gospel according to John 1:5. It further reinforces the message of the song and indicates the artist's attitude.
Ramonda is a beautiful song with a nice message and full of symbolism. I hope it goes well at the ESC even though it wasn't chosen by the audience. The jury in our country was unfair. Some of the members didn't give any points to the winner of the public vote and our favorite song. The same thing happened last year with Poland in their national song contest for Eurovision. Greetings from Serbia .
Smarate! Nije ni Loreen pobedila televot i niko ne osporava njenu pobedu. Breskvica i svi drugi su potpisali ugovor u kojem stoje jasna pravila takmicenja pa i mogucnost da ne dobije nista od zirija. Pravila igre naprosto 😊
Jury was unfair for what? Not giving points to one of the weakest vocal performances in the final? It's surprising "the winner of public vote" got points from juries at all (I guess they had to give it some points for instrumental).
The song 🎵 Ramonda = flower 🌸🌸🌸 metaphorically describes suffering of Serbian nation. They suffered 5 centuries under Turkish occupation and managed to survive and save their identity. In WW1 1/3 of the population and 60% of male population was murdered by Bulgarian, German and Austrian army...and they didn't announce a capitulation but the nation, led by the king went in an exile via hostile Albanian mountains. After all the suffering between 1914-1918, they returned back victorious and liberated all southern Slavic nations (Serbs, Croats, Slovenians, Macedonians) and created a South Slavic land (Yugoslavia). Another genocide happened during WW2, more than 1 million Serbian people were brutally murdered in genocide, especially in the Jasenovac concentration camp 😪😪😪 Ramonda flower 🌸🌸🌸 symbolically describes Serbian nation ... they love freedom and will resist any Hegemon 🕊✌️ 🕊
serbia is 100% qualifying with this, having croatia and slovenia in the same semi. portugal is the one in danger out of the 2 but honestly i see them both qualifying
I think Teya Dora and Iolanda are like Yin and Yang. Not only are they giving us the opposite visuals, they are sonically distinct: Ramonda is more quiet and atmospheric and Grito is more vocal and open.
I have concerns about the overall energy of the song and how it stacks against all of the bombast in semi 1. That being said, Serbia has lots of friends in the semi and it truly is one of the most beautiful entries of the year so I suspect juries will give this a lot of love. I started it at my 9th place and after an edible it clicked, i sobbed and moved it up to 3rd lol
Saying europe wants fast up beat song as winner can be said every year. Like yes we had kaarija last year that inspired lor of countrys but i can still see teya winning
She is facing a masive media and pro russian propaganda backlash and hate in Serbia ( u know who they wanted 🍑). They are even protesting on this friday, its so crazy 😭 Eurovision family protect this girl at all costs, she is such a diamond. Lots of love for all! 💕

Eagle's Nest is not pro-Russian propaganda, it is a song with soul and emotion which talks about recovery after losses. On global level but as well as on the individual, it talks about hope for a better tomorrow and how love, faith, endurance and kindness will defeat all the bad things in this world. The eagle is universal symbol of power, endurance, freedom. Andjela, the girl who sings the song is on stage in a traditional costume with wings and she was like an angel. Her name, literally, translated from Serbian means angel.Mine means hope.Greetings from Serbia.
It has nothing to do with Russia!!!!! I am pro russian and I was voting for Teya Dora!!!!! She was simply the best!!!! The song, voice, stage, message!!!!! Patriotic!!!!! Universal!!!!! Everything!!!! ❤️❤️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️ Ps Don' t say.........
What "pro Russian propaganda"? What are you even talking about? What does right to territorial integrity and Serbian holy land and patriotism have to do with Russia? Do you also see ghosts when you close your eyes? Where are you from?????? I want to know who's using a music competition to spread anti Serbian, anti Russian and pro fascist propaganda. Btw everyone who's pro Russian voted for either Teya Dora or Breskvica so I don't know who lied to you.
The lila ramonda flower is the main motif for the Serbian emblem of Victory Day in the First World War. It is also known as the "phoenix flower", it is a symbol of the suffering of the Serbian people in the First World War, when almost a third of the total population died. They call it the phoenix, because it has the ability to "resurrect" again after it dries up completely and goes dormant when the dry period comes. A little water is enough for it to bloom again, and its rebirth is associated with the fact that Serbia "resurrected" and got back on its feet after a painful and difficult struggle...
You mentioned if Alika ended up in top 10, so can Teya. Alika's song was way more stripped down, while Ramonda has catchier chours and viral potential. Different years, but I think same as you, if Alika could've make it, so can Teya!
I dont think Portugal and Serbia are competition to eachother. We alredy have few not as good songs this year like australia, molodva, iceland. Also poland, slovenia, ireland, cyprus arent sure q for me cause i dont see people voting for poland over serbia or portugal. Also slovenia doesnt have usually many televotes and now in strong semi final. And we dont know how people will react to ireland
It has a deep meaning, it is about the flower that exists only in ex YU which simbolise ww1 when we lost 1/3 of a male population, clothes and btw is superficial and not important
Like this song but I think if the styling doesn't get changed she might be heavily compared to Loreen and that might be a hurdle they may have to overcome
For me this is beuatiful .....best song from PZE A wonderful song, I understand it completely because I'm from Croatia, but if it was the best choice for Serbia, I'm not sure that this song would have achieved the best result
In 2020 Victoria (Bulgaria) was one of the better songs and Roxen did fine in both years. Apart from the performance in 2021. So I wouldn't consider this a dark horse. I think this is a beautiful song on its own merits. It's not dated and indeed very different than most of the other entries. So I guess that people who are drawn to this type of music would vote for this. And a decent score with the juries also. There is no real competition for Serbia this year. For me not a potential winner but definitely on my playlist. For my gloomy days.
I have one sugestion for U. If u like Marija Serifovic reacting on her song "11". Her voice is now so much stronger. Also u can lisent how she sing some of she favorite song. Let me entertain U, hello, show must go on...trust me. It's deliver of energy, emotions, and one of the best vocals I ever hear. Trust me u not regrets.
I actually would have been more in favor of a louder, more progressive ballad with longer notes. The chorus is OK, but the verses are partially too numbly for me, but maybe it'll be different in the live show. But that's probably just my own personal preference. Serbia could be a borderline Q or NQ this year. I'd say 9th to 12th place in the semi-final. Of course, once it gets to the final, it'll receive much jury love.
Alike last year was singing a difficult song with some impressive vocals. That's why she got points. While this song has nothing rather than only a MOOD. That last comparison i don't agree with you on that. Personally, i don't see this making the top 10. Best of luck to her, though 😉
@@esccse30 Zorra will be a massive chant, way too many Spanish fans are attending every year. It will be like Llamame, won't have much impact on the results, but the crowd will be wilding. As for Ramonda, I see it finishing 6th-7th because juries just wouldn't support a song in Serbian anyway.
I am really sad that Konstrakta with "Novo, bolje" didn't win the national selection. She was my favourite from the moment I heard the name Konstrakta. 😢 This is (for me) so boring and makes me so sleepy... I understand the Serbian language but it is very difficult to understand what she is saying? I don't think this will be in the final to be honest. She can probably be in the final just because of the huge serbian diaspora in the world nothing else. Winning? Absolutely not.
She maybe will not win but l am sure she will be in top 5. I love Konstrakta too but you can't win twice with the same trick. I don't think that even Konstrakta was expecting to win.
You have no idea what you are talking about. You follow betting reports and based on that you make an opinion about music. If I were you, I would start doing something real, and I would find a real life...

In order for a singer to be noticed, she doesn't have to be half-naked and scream in all directions. Teya Dora took the stage and sang this wonderful emotional song and won many hearts with her modesty and beautiful voice. Well done, well done. We are rooting for victory 🇷🇸
Teya Dora has aboslutely winning potential! The reasons are: First its magical and unique, also has a catchy moment of "mantra Ramonda", and gives the true emotion to the listener.
I dont think Europe is hungry for speed up songs as we have sooo manyy this year. Ramonda will stand up a lot and will do great moment in Malmo, mark my words.
I would not compare with Iolanda as Teya is more intimate, emotional and gives unique moment being herself only on the stage.
Go Serbia, you picked well!👏👏👏👏
Yes, I’d agree that Iolanda comparison is not that valid.. Teya is way more emotional and intimate
When Marija Serifovic won Beovizija 2007, Serbian people were not supporting her. They said that she is fat, lesbian, who is she, etc. And actually Marija won ESC that year. Now the history repeats with Teya Dora. So i hope she can win! Lets go! 🥳

This song has historic meaning for our country, and it's very beautiful.
She's having such an interesting time rn, first her moje more song went viral and now she's repping Serbia at ESC!
Her performance is so emotional, drive me to tears every time i listen to this song....

I like how they translated lightnings 🌩 from the video into live performance, using flashing lights (after 1st chorus).
Yes I have euforia for Teya's performance💜🌺💖🌸🤗
Ramonda represents Serbs and the song is metaphore for Serbian sufering in WW1 or The Great War. The song style is Serbian griefing song like lullaby but with sad meaning so that mothers can put the baby to sleap while grieving for lost man, brothers sons.
I need to say, that this breathy head-voice that Teya is producing, is much harder to conduct, and to do it right and pleasent, than an open voice…
From what i saw people mostly have it in their top 10. Its sooo different from anything we have in this year full of crazy and up beat song. The staging, the vocals, the message its all perfect and perfectly executed. Serbia top 10 this year easly 🇷🇸💜🌸

RAMONDA 🌸
" There's no, there's no peace for me
Restless, sleepless with no dreams
Night forbids the dawn to come
Hardest for the lonesome
Underwater, silent and bound
I scream but i can't make a sound
Above the hills there is a light
I see no end in sight
Only wounded can walk this path
There's no guide to take me far
Into brightnes of the Morning star
World in flames
Flowers burned away
Where've they gone from us?
Lilac Ramondas
Lilac Ramonda x8
There's no guide to take on me
The stars are gone, they fell asleep
Even prayers wouldn't console me
Where've they gone from us?
Lilac Radmondas
Lilac Ramonda x8
From the ashes rising high...

Ramonda is a beautiful song with a nice message and full of symbolism. I hope it goes well at the ESC even though it wasn't chosen by the audience. The jury in our country was unfair. Some of the members didn't give any points to the winner of the public vote and our favorite song.

It has nothing to do with Russia!!!!!
I am pro russian and I was voting for Teya Dora!!!!!
She was simply the best!!!!
The song,voice,stage,message!!!!!
Patriotic!!!!!
Universal!!!!!
Everything!!!!
❤️❤️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️
Ps
Don' t say.........

Just putting it out there, we can bring that biga$$ Tesla coil out of Tesla's museum for thunder effect... Would look so epic
Great song❤
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🇷🇸💜
❤Natalijina Ramond❤Feniks❤
Ramonda vs Iolanda ❤both are perfect
Well::: YES. :-)
Lost 65% of the male population and a third of all population.

Steady gang - ( 周星翅Chou xing chi )mv
Like this song but I think if the styling doesn't get changed she might be heavily compared to Loreen and that might be a hurdle they may have to overcome
For me this is beuatiful .....best song from PZE
A wonderful song, I understand it completely because I'm from Croatia, but if it was the best choice for Serbia, I'm not sure that this song would have achieved the best result
Alessia, are you going to react to the Melodifestivalin finalists?
I have one sugestion for U. If u like Marija Serifovic reacting on her song "11". Her voice is now so much stronger. Also u can lisent how she sing some of she favorite song. Let me entertain U, hello, show must go on...trust me. It's deliver of energy, emotions, and one of the best vocals I ever hear. Trust me u not regrets.
Why do you talk about Iolanda like she already won? I love pelas costuras 😂
Can you do ,,Gnezdo orlovo"
SERVia period💁💁💁
I love this I do think however Portugal has winner potential… am I the only one? This one can for sure reach top 10 tho
Do you speak Serbian
You are beautiful get life
Who hurt you?
Alike last year was singing a difficult song with some impressive vocals. That's why she got points. While this song has nothing rather than only a MOOD. That last comparison i don't agree with you on that. Personally, i don't see this making the top 10. Best of luck to her, though 😉
The repetition towards the end kinda kills off the winning potential for me (some juries won't like this).
Its a mantra , actually is not a repetition 🥰🥰🥰
It sounds anthemic because of that repetition
Crowd can catch up and sing along
@@stefjov chants this year are reserved for Zorra and Europapa
@@heppolo Zorra no, Europapa ok, I like it.
React to breskvica
Get better glasses
Are you paying for them?
I miss grand finale at the end like Slovenian song. Song is boring to me
She paid to win
Breskvica is better!!!
Breakvica have sim cards and pay for youtoube streams , better for her to put money for some music school to improve her self .
Zorja was a better choice.

I am really sad that Konstrakta with "Novo, bolje" didn't win the national selection. She was my favourite from the moment I heard the name Konstrakta. 😢
This is (for me) so boring and makes me so sleepy...
I understand the Serbian language but it is very difficult to understand what she is saying?
I don't think this will be in the final to be honest. She can probably be in the final just because of the huge serbian diaspora in the world nothing else.
Winning? Absolutely not.
She couldve came up with something NOVO BOLJE....
Koliko ste jadni, pateticni, odvratni, grozni, mediokriteti!!! Zadrzi svoje glupo miljenje za sebe ako si vec "nas covek"
