Writing this because maybe someone as masochistic as me will try to do that so here's some help for you.
I've already covered the first two phases in the last video's description, so I won't do it now.
The only exception is, apparently you CAN outrun the second phase, but your hook-launching technique has to be perfect, and by doing that you can despawn the Old Duke because of the large distance between you.
The third phase, obviously, is the hardest one. One or two tiny mistakes and you're probably dead, if not lucky enough. With my DPS you have to dodge it for 2.5 minutes. For now, it's the hardest thing I've ever done in videogames without exaggeration.
First things first, unlike Duke Fishron, The Old Duke teleports to the same side he stayed at before he teleports. So if he is to your left, he will teleport to your left. Duke Fishron is the opposite of that.
I've tried to keep The Old Duke to my right, because it's easier for me to dodge his charges when he starts to charge there.
And btw, to dodge his charges, you need to do the same thing you did in the first phase, but a little bit faster. To make sure you dodge the third charge, use the hook below you after you launched yourself with it in the air to dodge the second charge. And make sure you're always standing on the platform when he starts to charge. If you're in the air for some reason - you're probably dead.
The pattern for the third phase is:
"(Transistion into two charges) into (fish - teleport+three charges - balls - charge - teleport+two charges, and then it repeats itself)".
It looks easy, BUT there are exhaustion phases, and you have to remember at least first four of them (you'll see later why it's exactly four).
So, the full pattern would be something like that:
"(Transistion into two charges) into fish - teleport+three charges - balls - charge - teleport+two charges - EXHAUSTION - fish - teleport+three charges - balls - charge - teleport+two charges - fish - teleport+ONE charge - EXHAUSTION - TWO charges - balls - charge - teleport+two charges - fish - teleport+three charges - EXHAUSTION - balls - charge - teleport+two charges - fish - teleport+three charges - balls - charge - EXHAUSTION - TELEPORT+three charges etc"
You see, for the whole fight the way you dodge surprise charges after exhaustion phase is by using RoD right when his eyes start to flash. But after the fourth exhaustion, the very next "attack" he does is TELEPORT and only then surprise charge. You need to remember that, and press RoD (or NR, whatever) AFTER he teleports.
2:50 - this is what I'm talking about. This was the "Oh fuck" moment for me, I died to it like 10 times before I finally started to count his exhaustion phases.
The rest of the fight is the same tbh. Just do the same thing you did during the first four exaustion phases and try to remember what's he gonna do after them.
This is the list of the attacks after exhaustion phases:
1st: safe
2nd: two charges, use RoD above/behind the boss when his eyes start to flash
3rd: safe
4th: TELEPORT+3 charges, do not react to flashing eyes, use RoD AFTER teleport
5th: safe
6th: two charges again
7th: safe
And that's it, you'll probably kill him after his 7th exhaustion, if not before it.
