I was 16 in 1975, and was still riding a '60s Bultaco Lobito 100 that I'd had for several years. A couple of years later after getting my license, I got a Yamaha DT250 dual sport bike.
Back in my younger racing days I was fortunate enough to upgrade from my aging Yamaha YZ80B to the first model Suzuki RM125 that looked very similar to this TM100 with underslung pipe and all...Lined up against the very popular Elsinore 125s back then this new RM would blitz them in a straight line drag every time..Those where certainly the glory days of dirt bikes when just about every kid racer on the block had a bike or two and was supported by just as keen a dad.
Had a 1975 and I broke my leg three times in one year on that thing. T-boned a guy the first time. Some idiot hit me the second time and I looped it off a jump the third time. What great memories!

My dad bought me and surprized me with a Honda sl100 and I am forever grateful and it was a fun bike but me dream bike was the tm100.
